I Love It ! Just Dont Try To Jump Any Thing I Cracked The Oil Pan ( Its Not Like The Movies) — I love my baby! It was built to take on BMW M5s so its fast, large (lots of trunk space) comfortable ( and i gave a 911 a run for its money on HWY 407 before the 50 over law). Its also a great family car. Im sorry i cant say the same about all other intrepids

Pros: I would definatly recommend this car to any one just not mine!

Cons: none exept its 9 years old

Good All-around, General Purpose Car. — Mechanical performance of the Decrepid is great. I get good gas mileage and the engine is very reliable. Always starts well. The Decrepid's build is average. The interior parts tend to become unattached and the fabric of the seats and headliner are low quality. The plastics are fragile as well and the adhesives are wearing off. Appearance o' exterior: Only the back end is aesthetically pleasing to me, I think the front end is rather ugly. Appearance o' interior: At some point I think it did actually look nice, but nine years of wear and tear (and cigars) have taken their toll on her. The cabin is very large, however, so the seats are big and lots of room for storage, etc. Cost of ownership: VERY LOW, 23 mpg average and got a sweet deal on purchase from a family member. Fun Rating: 7/10 She gets up and goes and handles well, but tends to jerk a little bit on hard turns and wheels can slip in wet conditions.

    Pros: Cheap, Reliable, and Spacious

    Cons: Ugly, Long-term problems

Fearless R/t — This is an R/T with a 3.5 Liter High Output V6 it has 253 hp with premium gas. This Car is fun to drive and the tires spin easily. Bad gas Mileage though. Nothing major has gone wrong with this car. All I have had to do is regular maintenance. However this year I had to replace and inner and outer tie rod. With 136,589 miles on it, the motor is dying. It still runs for now but its louder than it should be. Except for the motor dying everything else on the car works perfectly

    Pros: Performance, Style and Build

    Cons: Needs better Gas mileage

Best Car I Have Ever Owned! — We bought ours in the summer if 2000. It is now 12/31/2008 and it has 103,000 miles on it. An ES Boasting a 3.3 L V6 with an auto stick, I have yet to need to put any brakes on it! And that is all thanks to the auto stick. I have a couple dings but it still looks like a forward thinking car. Looks like it's moving standing still. Simply the best vehicle with the greatest reliability I have ever had in my 52 years! No failures and only typical preventive service.

Pros: 27 miles highway, 3.2 has plenty of power, timeless styling, reliable

Cons: Hood Slope seems to promote debris chipping

Dodge Intrepid 2000 2.7l — the car is not that fast but its not slow, braking is dec, handling is pretty smooth, the car hasn't given me anymajor prblems, the cars looks r not ugly but not great either, millage 24-28, maintence is pretty basic oil ever 3000 miles and and whatever else might come my way, its fun to drift in when it snows out i stick something in the break release lever and just hit the parking brake whenever im in parking lots.

Pros: good first time car, lots of room, decent gas millage for its size

Cons: lights fog up, under the hood is really cramed so working on the car takes longer.

2000 Dodge Intrepid — This has been a great car. Not exactly the hod rod you show off to all your friends, but an inexpensive and reliable used car that got me where I needed. With it being such a large vehicle, the car has been quite a comfortable right! Thats definitly a plus.

    Pros: Comfortable, reliable, and affordable

Cons: Bigger than what I need, and not very sporty

Mine — Its a great car. Only thing is that the 2.7 is known for leaving people stranded. The 2.7 does an ok job of moving the car. So the extra 50hp from the bigger engines is obviously amazing. When you modify it, you take parts from a 300M Special. Basiclly its a fun car for a big family foor door sedan. Fairly easy to work on for a modern car. It translates over very well to brand new cars in terms of maintenence. It gets fair gas mileage for a car this size.

Pros: You can make it either fast or luxiorious... or a lil of both lol. Can easily seat 5 people. Many different modifications can be made using stock parts. Suprisingly light weight

Cons: The infamous 2.7 and Its just a big car

Great All Around Car! — I've had this car for nearly 3 years and have had no major mechanical problems. The only expensive things were the replacement of the timing belt and water pump at 90,000 and I just got a new belt for the alternator a couple weeks ago. The car is almost at 104,000 (it had 66,000 when I first got it). This is truly the best full size FWD sedan ever made, but unfortunately was replaced by the smaller Charger. There is plenty of passenger space and can seat 5 very comfortably. The security system, sentry key, and engine immobilizer keep your car safe. If you decide to purchase a non ES Intrepid, make sure to have a security system installed because my mom had a 2004 SXT which was stolen (it did not have a security system, just keyless entry) along with many other Chrysler, Dodge, and Plymouth vehicles in my area.

Pros: 1. A steal as a used car! Only paid $12,000 for the Top of the Line ES in 2005.
    2. Large trunk that can fit anything and everything
    3. Great 3.2L V6 (225 HP, 225 TQ), translates to plenty of power
    4. Great on Gas, especially on the Highway. What other car this size is able to achieve 400 miles of highway driving?
    5. Little to NO torque steer even with hard acceleration
    6. Quiet engine
    7. Sentry Key (Uses a special security chip in the key to start the car)
    8. Power driver and passenger seats
    9. Automatic A/C
    10. Auto Dimming Mirror
    11. Temp, Milage Meters, Compass

Cons: 1. It's large size...my first car was a bit smaller
    2. Rear side blind spots (behind rear doors)
    3. The low positioning of the grill lets water in during heavy rain and may make the belts sqeak for a few seconds.
    4. Chrysler decided to discontinue this model which wasn't a smart move
    5. Sometimes people think you are a cop and drive slowly in front of you
    6. Anti-lock brakes were not standard for this model year (My only real complaint about the car, especially after owning a car from 1988 that had ABS)
    7. Exterior Headlights get cloudy (but this is common place and I have PlastX to make them clear again)
