Great Car!!! — This is a great car if your not looking for a really fast car. It has a great ride, very quiet, yet still can get up and go. These cars are built very well. I have had mine a year and the only money i have put into it is for general maintenance. Both the interior and exterior look great. The interior is very organized and funtional, and the exterior is beautifull. I usually get around 21 MPG in town.

Pros: good gas mileage, great looks, built solid.

Cons: not very fast

Poor Man's Corvette — Great handling since I dumped the OE tires (Goodyear) and switched to Bridgestones. Bright red with smoked windows.

Pros: Leather, fullly loaded with heated seats and sunroof.  Eye catcher.

Cons: Not a red Z06 Corvette

Goat's Monte — I love the design that we used for the speakers and it works AWESOME. Body style is a nice flow and it has a large trunk. I do not like the rust spots that are starting to show up but what do you expect for for an year old car.

Best Car For A Teenager — This car has it all. The styling is eyepopping, the performance is wonderful, and the fuel economy is great. My leather interior is sweet and looks good. My black on black Monte with its red pin striping and chrome rims and stainless steel exhaust tips is one of the best around.

Pros: Has great performance along with good fuel economy.

Cons: Hard to get into back seat and only enough room for two peoples lugage.

Rollin In An 88 Like Jr. — This car handles and drives quite well, has a well-tuned suspension, gives 'er and has good fuel economy for a Supercharged V6.

Pros: great suspension, fast, good sound system, good on gas for an SS

Cons: weak sheetmetal, heavy doors, a/c can be a little spotty

It's A Legit Car. Has Style And Class But Lacks Balls. — The Monte is a great first car, it's got everything you want until you start asking for power and acceleration. Falls kinda short there. But it's damn fine looking and drives well.

Pros: Great looks, comfortable, handles well.

Cons: Blown Engines. Damn intake gasket.

One Of The Nicest Cars At A Very Reasonable Price — Black with Black leather, every option, not one winter, under 100,000 KM even though its 7 years old. Looks and performes like new.

Pros: Very nice car, eye turner, don't see to many

Cons: High Insurance, Lil high on gas

Fun! — I absolutely have loved driving this car! It has incredible lines, great handling for it's size, power is there when you need/want it, great interior space, comfortable ride.

Pros: Power when you need it/want it, quick acceleration, great ride, awesome cruiser on the highway, handles very well.

Cons: Nasty blind spot (B pillar), Fuel pig.

Great Car - But Could Have Been Better — GM designed such a great car - brakes, power and comfort. But they really dropped the ball on handling. The put a great suspension on the car but without being a rear wheel drive platform - it is significantly reduced in what it could have been. Wobbly handling is an issue if you try to drive in an aggressive manner.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Inside, are healthy doses of comfort with the Monte Carlo, whose cavernous innards were designed specifically to maximize harmony between the car and the driver. Special attention was paid to control placement and seat design, and engineers strove to provide top-notch brake pedal and steering feel. Good visibility, thanks to generous glass areas, a standard rear-window defogger, and large side-view mirrors.

Cons: This should have been a rear wheel drive car. Its front wheel drive significantly affects its handling.
