Great Car, Few Problems — I love the engine, it has some real kick and sounds great! Jynxie really needs a new paint job and I'm not too fond of the fabric interior or the slow windows. Stereo needs an update too, but overall a fantastic car for $2,500! XD Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Better gas mileage than my last car for sure Cons: Umm... It's really expensive to replace the gas gauge |

99 Sunfire Gt — well it's no G8 but for an older compact car it performs very well. Acceleration is great, breaking is good, and handling is exellant. build quality is reasonable. exterior styling is good, interior styling is ok. Cost of owner ship is relativly low, when i bought the car it had just under 200,000K on it and only one significant repair wich was probably more of a fluke anyway, gas milage is good. Considering I live in an area with a few of winding country roads the fun factor on this car is high :). I would definatly recomend this car to anyone looking for an affordable entry level sport coupe. Pros: great performance for a car in the compact class Cons: clutch could be a little smoother but no big deal |

Pretty Good American Car... — So far this is a great car. Picked it up at an auction this past summer at a pretty good price. Good power from the 2.2L engine and good mileage in part from the 4-speed automatic transmission. I like the 2-door styling and I picked up some 16 in. GT wheels which just make it a whole lot better. Pros: Power and mileage, A/C is cold, 4-speed transmission Cons: No cruise, handling could be a bit better |

Good Car — This is my first car I bought from a dealer. Performance: Good performance for an I4 Quality: Had minor problems with Heater system fuse (connected to license plate light too) Appearance: Stock appearance sucks... Mine looks good though... Fun Factor: FWD, What more can I say :) Other Thoughts: Insurance is very high for this car... Pros: Ok Performance for 4 cyl Motor, fun to drive, good on gas Cons: can't find performance upgrades, weird chassis wiring, still just a 4 cyl, BAD INSURANCE RATES! |

99 Sunfire — Performance on this car wasn't quite the performance of a higher end sports car but it was still fun. Build on the Sunfire wasn't bad but i did notice that it had alot of body roll to it when going around corners at a higher speed. the car looks fairly sporty from the outside with its lower profile roof. The interior isn't much different it's very comfortable and stylish of course thats just my opinion. Pros: Very Fun to Drive Cons: Not a whole lot of power |

Great Car — I love my car, it has never failed me and it doesn't take much $$$ to get some good hp and torque out of it. I have painted the whole interior, and put a awesome sound system in it. Fun car to drive. Pros: Car runs great and looks great Cons: Changing the waterpump is a pain in the ass |

Run Hard And Fast But Have A Short Life — The Sunfire GT is pretty fast for the class of vehicle. It had the 2.4 DOHC Quad 4 probably the most unreliable engine GM ever built. Good power and torque, but being all aluminum weakens the engine. Mine spun the main crank bearing at 190K and these engines are not cheap. The lower end sunfires are much more reliable. Pros: Acceleration, handling Cons: Engine, hard seats |
