My Oldsmobile — It has over 160,000 miles and the engine has never been touched. I do all the maintenance and minimal repairs myself. I have owned Oldsmobiles for over 20 years and they are in my opinion the best cars I have ever owned.

    Pros: 3.8 litre V6

    Cons: none

The Green Meanie. — I love my '99 Alero, even though she does have her problems from time to time. But, what car doesn't? She's does average on gas mileage & handling. She's got nice acceleration for a sedan witch is very nice, and it's fun to drive... she's got some spunk. She's kind of a pickle when it comes to getting fixed because it happens pretty often, but I know other Alero owners who never get anything done to them besides the basic new tires & oil changes and what not. So it's probably just my luck with mine. One of the best things about my car is that it has an amazing comfortable factor. Most people that have been in my car love it because it's inviting and relaxing ( so I'm told). And it's also just a nice car to cruse around in. When ever I need to get away I just drive around in her for a while and it's my own house of zen, haha. It's a great 1st car. :]

Pros: meats all the basic needs of a car.

Cons: need's a fair amount of work done.

Piece Of Chevy — I loved the acceleration, it was a V6, and the way it hugged the curves. It was a fun car. I HATED all the repairs. I had it only 4 months when I had to replace the steering column. It need the rear window & defroster replaced twice, the fan for the a/c had to be replace, and a bunch of other goofy things. In the nut shell "friends don't let friends drive GM products!"

    Pros: Fun to drive

    Cons: To much to fix

Better Than An "a To B" Car, But Not A High Performance Sports Car Either. — This car has some good qualities and some bad ones too. It doesn't accelerate very well but it's braking is great. Trying to keep up with a more powerful car is almost impossible, but once it gets going it goes and if you need to stop quick, it does. It handles how you want it to. If you drive it hard it handles great, if you drive it like your grandparents would, then it handles like they would want it to. It is getting old now so it is starting to need repairs, but they are not outside anything a 9 year old car with over 100k miles on it would need. It is a very nice looking car, its sporty looking with out jacking up your insurance. Lots of room inside. Quite comfortable. It gets decent gas mileage, I don't know the exact but it is decent. It does depend a lot on how you drive it as well. Maintenance costs aren't too bad on it either. It is quite a nice car to own. I have fun with it! It's not a fast powerful sports or muscle car, but it looks good and it is better than an "A to B" type of car.

Pros: Great at breaking. Comfortable and good looking. Handles well.

Cons: Doesn't pick up speed very fast. Not a very good sterio.

I Loved Driving It In Town And On The Highway. Great Acceleration! — I loved it, but it was considered sport. So got fed up with insurance prices.

Won at the lights. ;)  haha
    Good on gas.

    Cons: Squishy with 2 door.
    Expensive insurance.
