A Really Reliable Car — Well this is a great car i have only had a few problems since i've had it but they were all fixed really quickly. for example the trunk latch was broken and had to be replaced. Also i have had to replace the timing belt and get the air conditioner fixed, but overall it is a really good car. It does seem to slide around on the ice a bit and can have a hard time getting out of the snow. Finally it has excellent gas mileage.

Pros: good gas mileage, few problems at all

Cons: dont really know i got it used and the problems could have been caused from a number of things

Great Car — This is my wife's car. We have always loved it. It is a 4 cylinder, but it has enough giddy up to get you where you need to be. We have kept up with the usual routine maintenance, and are very pleased. It has been a relatively inexpensive car to own. The gas mileage is very reasonable and is very dependable.

Pros: good gas mileage, comfortable, dependable, stylish

Cons: None to speak of.

Basic Is Good... — 31+ mpg. The manual states a 7500 mile service interval but I change oil every 5000. Simple to replace headlights and taillights, not so simple to replace turn signal lights. Smooth and forgiving 5-speed manual transmission. Good build quality -- no rattles; a small squeak in the driver's seat; easy to dent and tear body panels and bumpers; solid "thump" when you close the doors. Exterior styling is a bit bland but not dated. Wish a more luxurious interior was available when I bought the car, but the ergonomics are good. Easy to drive, easy to park.

Pros: Good gas mileage. Inexpensive maintenance. Good ergonomics. Reliable transportation.

Cons: Easy to dent. More basic than luxurious.

$$$ — All I was told by friends is that it made them think about sex... The little four banger was tweaked and sounded like an SCCA race car. With all the suspension mods (tokiko all around) the car felt like a Mini Cooper. For an automatic tranny, you could easily launch from neutral at 4000 rpm and not hear a single gring or bang. Great car!

Pros: Excellent base car to start mods. High reving VTEC 2.3 lt inline 4 (the V6 is too nose heavy). Full exhaust from header to tail pipes. 4-2-1 header and 2 1/4" stainless exhaust. Custom fabricated cool air intake tube. Dropped it 1 1/4" front and 1 1/2" rear. Handled like a slot car. Strut tower braces and swaybar bushings.

Cons: It was black (showed every blemish), automatic tranny.

Accord 1999 — Honda makes the best cars. The Honda Accord is Honda's flagship model and it shows. The build quality is beyond comparison and the attention to detail in the interior is amazing. I got the four cylinder model for the gas savings, and I could easily get 35 miles/gallon on the highway.

Pros: Great gas mileage, spacious inside, good looks.

Cons: I dont own it annymore

Long Life Honda — Performance: Not that good. Braking: Good enough. Handling: Very good. Build Quality: Excellent. Cost of Ownership: very high. Gas mileage: Unbelievable. Maintenance: dosn't need too much of it.

Pros: Economical car

Cons: Very expensive spare parts

A Good Midsize Sedan — I have always liked the Accord model and have had good past experience with Honda so when I decided that I would like to buy a sedan with good aesthetics, performance and reliability the Accord was pretty much a "no-brainer". I have been nothing but happy with my Accord. I also chose the Accord because I knew there are alot of aftermarket parts availible for it so I could do alittle customizing and make it "My Accord".

Pros: good handling, fun to drive

Cons: I wish it had all wheel disk brakes and a five speed

Huh? — its slow. But it gets me where I need to go and gets decent gas mileage while doing it. Has gotten through my family for almost 10 years (my mother being the original owner). The only mechanical failures it has had other than routine maintenance is a catalytic converter.

Pros: reliable

Cons: slow

1999 Honda Accord — Dislike... 4 doors & the fact that it's an automatic. Like... Overall performance of Honda's V6 motor & reliability of car in general.
