Great Small Truck — This is a great little truck if you want a truck without the hassle of a bulky v8 4x4. The 3.0L v6 is very reliable and makes decent power. Combined with the 5 speed manuel transmission, this truck can make it up to speed very easily. The brakes stop as expecting with rear drums and front discs but the ABS only applies to the rear wheels making it harder to control a panic stop. Also only having 2wd makes the truck a little light in the back in heavy rain and wintry weather but sandbags in the back help alot. Also with a mix of city and highway driving it can get into the low 20's in the MPG catagory. I'd recomend this truck for anyone that wants a truck but wants something small and easy to drive.

Pros: Decent Power, Decent MPG's for a v6, Long lasting engine with routine maintanance

Cons: Had to replace the clutch (but at 167,000 miles, it lasted a long time),  Some 3.0's come with a bad CPS that can lead to big trouble down the road, Tire spin in the rain can happen on the right surface

My Reliable Truck... — Since I've had the truck I've done a lot things to it to keep it in shape. I've done a tune up, EGR Tube and Valve, routine oil changes, along with coolant flushes, also just replaced the heating coil, so the truck heats up allright...but other than that Riding on BFG Radial T/A's great tires, and putting on the chrome skinned wheels in the spring...

Pros: Great Truck to drive and to have...

Cons: Little maintenance things here and there...

The Quintesential Small Pickup — great, other than the gas mileage with the 4wd, auto 4.0 v6 combo

Pros: great power, stock ground clearance

Cons: higher center of gravity

Good Little Truck. — 3.0L V6 had good power and was E85 compatible.

Pros: Made great power when run on E85.

Cons: Fuel mileage was sacrificed when run with E85; 12 mpg!

Perfect Wanna-be Truck — this truck is great except the fan bearings went out but i then replaced it with an electric and now it gets about 5 miles to the gallon more and better horsepower

Pros: not too big, not too small, just right

Cons: 4 cylinder, stock suspension

Reliable, Solid, No Rust — the truck is solid. no rust, no rot. runs perfect, no hiccups. ive driven this truck to hell and back, and it still runs perfectly. ive loaded so much weight on the back that the tires were rubbing in the wheel-wells, and it still runs great.

Pros: good fuel mileage, light-weight, does sick burnouts

Cons: no power doors or windows

Powerful V6 And Great Reliability. — Really great truck. Traded it in because I didn't feel like fixing the sensors and the tranny from a towing company towing from the front ad having the back tires drag for 15 feet. All because my parking permit fell off my mirror on to the DASH!!!

Pros: Reliability, power, burnouts, FUN!

Cons: None

Complete Junk. — This truck caused me nothing but trouble. Heating and cooling problems never stopped no matter what I had done to it, burned an incredible amount of oil, anti-lock brakes always kicked in for no reason.

Pros: If you crashed, you'll most likely be safe with the heavy build of the truck.

Cons: Very poor gas mileage (15 MPG), head gasket trouble, burns a lot of oil, heating and cooling problems.  Premature Rust.
