Ford Build Tough ! — Really good truck though it need more power, nice braking fun to drive and they probable forgot they're supose to burn fuel, probably using 8L/100km appearance it cool but could be better and its one of my favorite winter car

Primary Use: Commuting to work

I Love My Truck. But, It Is Not For Everyone. — Quick Acceleration, Built FORD tough quality, It looks SEXY, and It's pretty fun to drive. Its honestly not the cheapest to drive, or insure, but hey, it's a truck! I would only upgrade to a 4X4 with a manual transmission and the 4.0 V6. My 3.SLO doesn't like anything over 65mph... She gets a lil' shaky...

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Easy to drive, and its a truck!

Cons: Gas mileage, low cab space, cost to own

Functional, It Does What A Truck Is Supposed To Do. — I got this one from my dad in 2010, with only 55000 miles on it. He had used it as his work-truck, and it looks it - paint splatters all over, a few dents, etc. It looks like a truck! 4 speed manual, drives ok, but it takes some getting used to after driving one of the other cars I have.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: Moving?  Camping?  Hauling?

Cons: Not sexy, not nimble, not cute

Ford Ranger: A Worthy Truck To Own. — Well for a truck it does its job well. It pulls small trailers quite easily, plus it also has great gas mileage for city and highway. Honestly I have always wanted a truck like this. Its not too huge, I dont need to carry lots of large loads, so it suits me. It accelerates quite well, brakes are not as reactive as i want the to be. It is 11 years old and i have not had a single serious issue with the truck. I only have replaced the sway bar bolts because of rust so its in great condition for its age. Currently it has 58000 on it so its quite young. the tranny fluid needs to be changed because it does not shift as smoothly as it should. All in all this truck is awesome.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Useful for small loads, fuel efficient for a truck and has a great look.

Cons: Handling is not as easy on corners and large bumps. Winter driving is a little more complex with rear wheel drive.

Ford Ranger — i like that the extension sides are doors and open up for easer access. I also like that it came with a fiberglass cover on the bed. It turned the bed into a very large trunk for my little truck

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: fiiberglass cover over the bed

Cons: it is getting old

Good Truck — Mini truck that is good on gas but at the same time can get going pretty quickly. Very fun to drive, handles as a full size truck, used to squeak, but got it fixed... Lots of aftermarket parts to choose from.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Gas Mileage

Cons: Handeling

Small Trucks...... Might As Well Get A Sedan — For a Ford..... and after being used to F-150, the ranger was a step down...... Ranger XLT SPORT, flex fuel, 3.0L V8, 2 wheel drive, automatic, extended cab, flareside. It was pretty useful but not powerful at all. Good thing tho was the rear sliding window..... and the whole "Murdered" look. Gas Mileage was 18-20mpg. I never tried out the "flex fuel", was warned against doing it..... Since i got it used.... just about every other part needed fixing. belts, tire-rods, shocks..... Ive learned, dont buy used trucks previously used by teenagers......

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: haul small stuff, semi decent gas mileage

Cons: no power,  alot of fixing needed

1999 Ford Ranger — Truck is awesome. Nothing ever breaks on it. Powerful 4.0L V6 engine. 4x4 4 Doors. I would drive this truck cross country without my fingers crossed. Ford makes damn good vehicles. It is so fun to dive and it rides nice.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Ride, Power, Comfort, Reliabilty

Cons: Gas

Good Truck. — Overall good truck. Was a little underpowered and uncomfortable on long trips. I had a problem with the rear brake cylinders locking up on me, but Ford covered it under warranty. All in all it was a fun truck though.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Good gas milage, inexpensive, easy to maintain

Cons: Unpowered, not as capable or comfortable as a fullsize truck
