Affordable Rwd Fun — A balanced package: not expensive to buy or own, decent power, decent handling, comfortable ride, ground clearances like a normal car so no scraping (unlike those poor Camaros), sounds fantastic, looks fantastic. These cars are a great starting point, then make it into what you want. Drag Racing - Bolt on a supercharger, gears, and some drag radials and you are moving close to the 11's!! Autocross - Upgrade brakes, get some extra wheels and tires, stiffen up the suspension and you are off and running. Appearance - many wheels and body kits available, pick your favorite and paint it.

Pros: Good in all areas, great in the areas you choose to focus on.

Cons: Everyone has them...but that is a good thing!

Mustangs Are #1 — I've had this vehicle for 2 years bought used... still very little maintainence required(other than voluntary add ons). Gas mileage poor..especially with 3.73 gears in rear end.

Pros: Great everyday driver if gas prices are not an issue.

Cons: Must have sub-frame connectors(or some sort of stabilization system) or else I wouldn't take it to the drags!

Nice Car — for a v6 the power was good, not import v6 good, but good. my g35 would kill it though. it was very reliable and the 5spd was nice

Pros: sporty with room inside

Cons: none really

Great Car - Power To Spare ( For A V-6 ). — 99 Mustang standard trans. - black on black, great looking car ( for 178 klm's ). No major problems , and I run her hard. Interior is well put together,( as for the quality). The one peeve I have is the drink holder - if I have a cup in the holders - when shifting into 4th or reverse the stick hits the cup (s)! Other than that , this car handles superbly, well bilt and not too bad on fuel (- keeping the foot off the floorboard). P.S.- As of today my fist major problem - the "anti- theft" system does not seem to "read" my ignition key (s)... and the car will not start ( will turn over though ).It's going to the dealership for further testing... ( a one off ? ).

Pros: a very solid car - great performance / power to spare.

Cons: Poor design/placement of cup holder (s )& - waiting for results on " anti - theft " system problem ( no-start ).

For A Used Car With 96,000 Miles I Found The Steering & Suspension Tight. — The car handles well on both the highway & in town. The engine even with all those miles on it ran smooth. All of the gaskets are sealed with no fluid leaks. My big concern is with the top. It has a hole rotting in the vinyl where it is glued to the wondow.

Every One Needs To Go Out And Get A Mustang And Find Out For There Self! — The 1999 35th Anniversary Mustang even with a 3.8 V6 it still has quick acceleration and great fuel economy, 4 wheel disc brakes will stop you on a dime, Traction control for great handling on wet and dry roads and in the curves, This mustang is pure American muscle and with its clean sleek style is still an American icon. This mustang is 14 years old and can still turn heads and can keep up with the best of them. The only thing I don't care about with the mustang is it only has a 15.70 Gallon fuel tank, Cargo capacity for the Luggage on a long trip and its small back seat and plus it is a Cop magnet! This car is well built and last forever, I love my mustang! I am very particular about everything on my car, This is my first mustang and I would love to buy another one some day. I know it sounds crazy but unless your a mustang owner you wouldn't know what I mean, So a word of advise to every one go get you a Mustang.

Pros: 4 Wheel disc brakes, Fuel economy, Reliability, Traction control,

Cons: The 15.7 Gallon tank, Cargo capacity, Cop Magnet

Looks Good, But Engine Lacks Power. — The 99 Mustang's V6 lacks a lot of power for a 3.8 liter. Ford could of had tuned it a little better. Exhaust system kills a lot of the fuel economy and horsepower. If you decide to buy one, change your intake, exhaust, get your catalytic converter straight piped, and get yourself an E.C.U. chip. After all of this you should have a good amount of horsepower that should beat any other V6 out there.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Miles Driven per Year:13,000

Pros: Good engine response at high RPM.

Cons: Check engine light, fuel economy, horrid 0-60MPH time. The brakes on the car tend to lock when trying to brake and turn at the same time.
