Its A Pig On Gas — but its also partly my fault. The number 2 and 3 spark plugs are a pain in the ass to get at. The interior is very comfortable in leather. The outward veiw is decent and nice and high when your use to cars.

Pros: 4wd and comfortable

Cons: It burns fuel like it free. The spark plug locations

Gas Hog — I drive a ford explorer . The gas mileage is horrible. When ever there is a problem with the vehicle it cost thousands to fix.

Pros: can fit a lot

Cons: gas mileage is poor

Badass. Enough Said. — Ford did a good job on the 1999-2001 V8 Explorers and Mercury Mountaineers. V6 transmissions are a little weak if you work them hard, but the V8 powertrain as a whole is very strong and reliable.

Pros: Quick.  Automatic climate control.  Radio controls on steering wheel.l

Cons: Fuel Economy.  You gotta pay to play though.  People are convinced they will roll themselves, but in reality it is all driver error.

1999 Ford Explorer — She's got 140,000 miles on her and she is still trucking. Leather interior is nice, just a good vehicle. When I get on her, you definitely get pushed back in the seat, quite impressive especially for a Ford SUV

Pros: Lots of cargo room, holds 4 passengers + 1 driver

Cons: Loud All-Terrain Tires

Great Vehicle! — Coming Soon! Ford ignited a revolution with the legendary 1999-2001 Explorer series....

Pros: Reliable, Sturdy, Spacious, Great for Roadtrips, etc.

Cons: No ones first car lasts forever! Terrible on gas, even at peak performance and maintenance condition.
