Cool Car. If I Could Go Back I Never Would Of Bought It — i love the way it drives and the way it looks, but ive heard of alot of the same problems goin on with other peoples durango that are goin on with mine. Like the total randomness stalling, the windows giving out, mostly the driver side. I love this truck though, sold my car that was getting 30mpg, for this gas hog, not bad on the highway though. plenty of room for people or large luggage, shoot ive slept in it before. the handling on this car is real nice.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: handling, all the room, towing capacity, looks

Cons: stalling, transmission sliping, windows

Just Pick A Color — Comfy Ride--tows nice. Lousy gas mileage--14mpg on a good day. Mirrors are almost too big. Hard to see people at crosswalk. Make sure to get one with the updated tranny and heater core already replaced! Good looking mid-size suv.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great towing and comfy ride

Cons: gas mileage

My Durango — I bought this truck new and now it is 10 years old and has 196,000 miles! Have I mentioned that I love this truck. This vehicle is a real workhorse. It hauls my tools, my boat, and my shavings to the barn.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Powerful, comfortable, capabable off roader

Cons: 13 mpg

They Work If You Get One Given To You Then I Guess Drive It Til The Tranny Goes. — All I can say about this truck is that if it had been built better it could have been great. I spent over $8000 dollars just to keep this thing running over two years but when it ran and I needed it to tow, it did everything I needed it to do. It was just too expensive to keep fixing the bad engineering that went into this truck. I did not mind the bad gas mileage which peaked at 13 mpg and I NEVER got stuck in anything. The 360 could have put out a little more and the transmissions should last longer than 100k miles. I had to do a complete rebuild on mine. Other wise it build and size was perfect and even with all the problems I loved to drive my durango.

Pros: Don't buy it

Cons: It always breaks and suffers from bad engineering

Big Slt — Its a Dodge, so it breaks down a lot. Its cheap to fix and easy to work on bought it for $1500 with a busted transmission and a missfiring engine tranny rebuild $700 in parts and two weeks of my time total up and running cost $2200 you just can't beat that unless you steal it

Pros: engine was designed in the 60's  and runs mint

Cons: the transmission was designed in the 90's and breaks down at the drop of a hat

It's Mine — Its mine, nothing else to express what it is. Its got some miles on it, and its had to have the drive tram on it redone once. Its hard on gas, but its great to drive. Cruise control makes things so much easier. The windows don't really roll down but that's fine since its got a working A/C and heater. Plans to trade in are in works but it'll be about 2 to 4 more years till I can do so.

Pros: Memories, Color

Cons: Gas Mileage, Dings

Burn Baby Burn — BEWARE OF TRANSMISSIONS!!! its a wonderful SUV, and for its size the gas was not bad. however that transmission goes, say bye to your truck if it catches on fire!!!! I had a 6in Lift on it, 35in tires, rebuilt transmission and a extended drive shaft to make it all work.

Pros: its a tank

Cons: transmission... vehicle caught fire.
