Great Off Road Truck — I bought this truck to hunt out of and drive to work it does both very well and has plenty of power. I wish it had extended cab doors like the bigger trucks do but It serves its purpose thanks.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: Factory V-8 in a small 4x4

    Cons: No back doors

Everyone Needs A Truck So Buy The Best — Had this baby FOREVER and still runs faithfully! She has over 250,000 miles on her and I keep her oil changed (by myself, kudos to the ladies!). At 237,000 the water pump had to be changed and my mechanic was amazed the original had lasted that long. I was just grateful!

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: America still builds the best!

Cons: That I don't have another one just like it

Fun Limted Production Truck — quick truck made to compete against the ford lightning, toyota xrunner, and the s10 xtreme it out does all the other trucks except the lightning because of the obivious supercharger on the lightning but will out handle them all easly

    Pros: its fun

Cons: the messed up bumper from the previous owner

Rather Nice — I love my Dakota. I've owned it since 2004 and it now has 176k miles on it, and it drive almost like new. I need new ball joints and should get a new clutch, but other than that a true blue dodge.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: Acceleration for a 3.9 L V6 aint bad.

Cons: Ball joints go bad quickly

Love The Truck But My Baby Needs Work — Over all great truck Performance: quick acceleration, great four wheel drive excellent handling Build quality: Shakes (bad tires) squeaks and rattles a little, had to replace front axels and shocks, need to replace tranny diode, Appearance: you cant beat how a 99 dakota looks! inside and out! (altho mine is rusty and the paint clear coat is chipping) Cost of owner ship: only 18 mpg on highway and about 14 in town, looses oil due to a rear main leak, Fun factor: i love driving this truck i would dirve it every day if i was rich enough to do so but cannot afford the gas . . . thanks bush, ya prick

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

    Pros: comfortable, safe, looks good

Cons: tranny issues, front end issues

Great Vehicle — performs like a champ i havent had hardly any problems with it at all the only thing that i have a major issue is with the transmission but thats a given when you buy a dodge lol. Anyways the only problem with the transmission is that it is slow to shift only between 2nd and 3rd gear then after that its fine. It only has to shift between the two gears only once a day and almost all day long it shifts normally.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: Its really comfortable

    Cons: The transmission

It Is A Awesome Little Truck For The Price. — It is an alright vehicle. It is a standard. It brakes well, it does take some time to get up to speed and it handles great. So far the only problem is the power steering, it leaks. It looks great bright blue. Interior is great too. Gas mileage could be better. It was fun to learn how to drive.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It is a dodge product

    Cons: gas mileage

Fun To Drive — several performance and visual upgrades have made this truck amazing. its not the fastest vehicle on the road, but it is very unique. it has a nasty cam that makes it sound like a top fuel funny car. the sway bars make it grab the turns as well.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: quick, fun

    Cons: expensive

Dodge Dakota — Performance- 5.2L with custom air intake and catback exhaust. Build Quality- solid but i wish it didn't have IFS Apperance- Red, has small lift that was done by cranking the torsion bars and putting helper springs on the back. And it is sitting on 33" MT BFGs. Electronics- CB radio, siren, air horns, strobe lights, Baja lights, Clarion head unit with kenwood component speakers and 12" sub setup.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: Everyone refers me to my truck

Cons: no 2nd gear and front suspension is wearing out
