1998 Toyota Camry LEReview

190k And Still Going — Purchase the vehicle from a neighbor two years ago for high school student transportation. Not flashy but good basic transportation. Just what we wanted for kids that age.

Owner for 2 years, 0 months

Miles Driven per Year:5,000

Cons: $400 and change for a rebuild starter installed - Ouch!

Clean Title — I liked the fact that it is a good solid built reliable & depenable automobile, Had great passing power, smooth ride, quite, never failed me, never failed to start, always good to go, would I recomend this car? without a moments hesitation, can't say enough about its quality, dependability, & reliability, good looking comfortable great, safe, car!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: powerful, smooth ride, great handling, for me its just a great car. wouldn't want to let
it go if I didn't need  to aquire a Van that has more utility to transport my Family, & other items that just will not fit and transport properly, in a car.

Cons: rotors may need turning, other than that it is just a great  reliable & well built automobile.

1998 Toyota Camry LE V6 Review
I owned this car and it had no serious issues with very less maintenance and even with higher mileage of 148000 when I bought and sold when it had 182000 miles it stood out in its class and a really good MPG. when it comes to choosing a car of this age, I agree lot of things come into picture and it gets too subjective with who owned prior and how they maintained matters the most, I would highly recommend a toyota blindly for what it is in terms of value for money.

Looks/Style Ranked 1998 Honda Accord LX V6 better.
"I like the headlight & taillight design better comparatively and just the styling of the car is more appealing to the eye. "
Would Buy Ranked 1998 Honda Accord LX V6 worse.
"I would buy the Camry for two reasons. Reliable and dependable. Honda cars are good too but when it comes down to the moment of truth, toyota stands out on that. so I would always choose a Toyota over Honda if I ever fall into that scene again. Hondas have better engines but Toyota has better overall quality of the build. Toyotas are value for money, to me atleast!"

Excellent Car Overall And Comes With Big Fuel Savings By hiltyga
