The Rov-onda 200 —

The Rover 200 which was largely a joint venture with Honda, carries alot of that manufacturers traits. The engine is quite nippy and has some good low down grunt and carries a sporty exhaust note even without a modified box. The inteior is fairy ok, trim level is nice though the need for plasic fake wood still reminds me of people who try to pass off linolium floors s 'real' tiles. Besides tha the interior os sound and solidly biuld. The only thing to get used to is the window controlss on the centre console! Handling is quite good, the wide wheelbase allows for some 'sporty' driving but the tyres are a big le down. With mider tyres and slightly bigger rims thiscar ould probably handle ALOT better and not wash out so much on long corners. Capacity is very good! We know from experience you can carry a TKM kart and two passengers and their crap inrelative comfort. The seats are ok though do feel somewhat park-bench-like at times. Partly due to the low shoulder line of the car which makes you think you are sitting far higher in the vehicle than in fact you are. All in all a good little car with oodles of 'Honda-ness' in it which serves only to benefit the driver. In terms of fuel its pretty good and does a 200+mile trip on half a tank. Its easy to look after and touch wood, hasn't had too much go wrong with it outside of the normal things that need replacing. The car is fun to drive if you know how to use it, the weight means that it doesn't get air as much as some would like but I have managed two wheels off the ground occasionally. Drive hard this car is very good, but i certainly lags behind newer cars and their better dynamics. Not as much of a 'grannies ca'r as you might think though!!!

Pros: Size, engine, interior quality

Cons: brakes, tyres, street cred!

Josh V's Rover 200si — Love it...... comfortable, nippy and likes a good run round once and a while :P acceleration is pretty good for what i want =] needs some new brake shoes, handles pretty good as well :) goo solid biuld needs a few repairs but nothing too major, the car does around 35-40 miles to the gallon, not much on maintenace really. head gasket gone already so will go for ages. car is good to drive feels like it needs more power and stiffer suspension but other than that i LOVE this car!

Pros: every thing

Cons: one window dodgy at the mo....
