Quite Quick — Quite a fun car, best one i've owned, relatively quick, economy not bad. No rear room. A few issues with interior build quality. Has never let me down, still managed to cover 200 miles with a misfire. All in all pretty good

Pros: Fun

Cons: no rear room

Rover 220 Sdi — the sdi engine is a powerfull engine and it is solid, but the car will fall apart around it :(, the handling isnt too hot , and the electrics aint upto much , but it is economical if you want it to be

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: economical, powerfull, solid engine,

Cons: handling, bodywork, build quality,

A Good English Engineering Accomplishment — head gasket is ofc a major problem but once its sorted it wont re-occur. its speed is rly surprising when you look at the exterior. the interior is rly nice apart from the fake wood. i lol'd when i first got it all else is brilliant rly. not a bad word

Pros: it looks sporty and drives beautifully

Cons: head gasket

My Roverbean — Say what u like about Rovers, I know they're not the coolest cars in the world, but the more other cars I drive the more I appreciate it! Mine was a 98 model but drove like something that was only a few years old. Completely effortless handling, smooth, comfy ride and pretty nippy for a 1.4 really. Acceleration not great in fifth but then it was a small car. Plus u never get stopped by police or anything, cos only law-abiding old men drive them, right? ;o) Put it this way, I've just bought an mr2 and yet I still don't want to sell this car! Maybe I could just keep both...?

Pros: smooth handling, cheap running, lovely car

Cons: head gaskets!

My Lil Rover — For its age, a fun car, and not an old mans car atall. not the most mod cons in the world, but comfortable and fast for a lil 1.4. Head casket blew before I bought it, I scrapped it after the clutch snapped and along with the annoying knocking form the engine it wasnt worth the hassel or cost of repairs. For 600 quid it did the job for a couple of years

Pros: Faster than it looks,

Cons: reputation as old mans car,

The Best Of The Best — I like that it saved my life when my Vectra died. It is quite nippy for a 1.4. But the Rover charm is kicking in. Cute on the outside, mod on the inside. Cassette player too baby, woooo! Its not really cheap on insurance. I thank my Nan for the car.

Pros: Back window wiper goes on when reversing in the rain.

Cons: It's a ROVER
