Hmmmm..... — Bought the car (a diesel) to save money - ended up costing a packet! Everything went wrong and cost a fortune to fix!!

Pros: Mpg, handling

Cons: Build, performance, spares cost, not a very easy DIY repair

Peugeot 306 — Its handling is very predictable as well as a little fun for a small cheap car. Performance is quite adequate for 1.6. It feels lightly built but has been reasonably reliable. Repairs in 2 years: clutch, CV joint boots.

Pros: Good handling, perfect size for London

Cons: Ridiculously wide turning circle

Good Handling And A Nice Car. — I had the 1.6 engine which was quite weak for this car. Good handling though. And good fueleconomy aswell. Loved it on small swirling countryside roads!

Pros: Handling, economy.

Cons: Poor reliability.
Noisy and weak on motorways.

Miss It — The car is no longer it was written off. It was a lovely car to drive. the best part was the handling. the handling was standard of an older peugeot. it would slide into corners but still hold the road lovely. The general shape of the car was lovely the only feature i will it had was the fog lights. if it has them it would have been my dream car.

Pros: Handling

Cons: Its no longer

Excellent All Round Blaster — I traded my Phase 1 in for this Phase 2. Still with a 2 litre engine but the 16 valve version. It was pretty standard but the XSi (which this was) had pretty good spec. Although only cloth interior it was functional. Comfortable seats which held you in place. The car was fast and held the corners VERY well.

Pros: Power, handling.

Cons: None really.

Was A Little Beast — loved the 306. 1.6 engine had allot of give in it, nice bit of acceleration even if top speed wasn't all that great. easy to modify with loads of parts readily available.

Pros: look the business done up

Cons: twitchy rear end

Reliable Mile Muncher — I have the 1.9 dTurbo model. Good looking 10 year old car with a nice interior for its age. I have the diesel engine, which is pretty noisy but otherwise a solid car. Good on motorways

Pros: Reliable, good looking for its age

Cons: Noisy

Very Acumplised Rosad Car. — The Gti 6 model, has enough go as a sporty hatch with a great chassis and decent brakes, it's main downfall is a bad mpg when driven with some spirit.

Pros: Handling, brakes.

Cons: Economy
