I Wanted A Toy To Play On The Race Track,... — This is the nicest car I have ever owned. It is also the one tath I kepth for the longest period. It has avery low cost of ownership, but is is only a toy. It is not so reliable but the costs are staying low. It is relly a trill, killing 300bhp M3's and Porsches on the Nordschleife or Francorchamps with a only 120bhp car,...

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Price vs thrill of driving

Cons: Very demanding for the driver and not so fun on the highway

Elise — It's the best handling car in the world! Driver's feedback is amazing and 0-60 in 5.5 seconds is good enough for me. Has great styling and turns heads. It is the most fun you can have on four wheels. As an added bonus I get between 36 to 42 mpg.

Pros: Handling and performance

Cons: Hood a bit of a pain

My First Love — Note that its "owned" and not "owns". Guess how this one ended. All I'm saying was it wan't my fault, and these things need traction control. Trouble is traction control is heavy, and nothing heavy was allowed anywhere near this car (jncluding metal bodywork, electric windows, air con....). This meant that it drove like an absolute dream, and was gorgeous. I loved it. Chronically unreliable (and it only had 16000 miles on the clock), and incredibly expensive, plus it didn't have any suspension at all, so every tiny stone or twig you went over broke your back in several places, but worth it all. I regret nothing, but I'm not recommending it because most people just would not be able to live with it day to day, and it would probably kill you.

Pros: Phenomenal to drive, look at and tell your mates you own

Cons: Expensive, uncomfortable, slippery when wet
