It's A Good Looking Very Comfortable Ride! — I haven't had it long enough to tell you much. It has a lot of electronic features and I can't find the interior fuse box. I feel good driving it and it's even more comfortable than my 1999 Tahoe LT. Very Comfortable And Great Visability. — I really love the car! It's very comfortable and drive nice. The body style still looks modern to me and the body and paint are still excellent. I bought the car when it had 144,000 miles already. I figured that It was traded in because it was starting to have problems and it has had a couple with-in the first 2k I've had it. I am hoping that the repairs will slow down and that I'll get a year or so 2 more with out any major work. I repalaced the harmonic balancer (cost $216) and the power steering pump. ($65 at autozone) I did te work myself. Owner for 0 years, 2 months |

Jeep ... Not Much More I Can Say! — I've never been impressed with any Jeep model ever produced. This Jeep Grand Cherokee was no exception. The exterior leaves everything to be desired. The interior just looks cheap. It's dash is sparse with plastic controls. This vehicle is the epitome of the term "ordinary". 3 Transmissions............and I Loved It! — Ohhhh my Jeep. I miss this Jeep so much. I loved this thing. It wasn't the most reliable (3 transmissions!) but I still wish I had it. It was a Black Laredo with black color coded bumpers. Lets see. Pros: It would go anywhere in snow, anywhere at all. Great sound system, comfortable seats with nice leather, good looks, the radio controls on the steering wheel were awesome, surprisingly smooth ride for a larger suv. Cons: Not so good gas mileage, 3 transmissions (2 of which jeep covered,) leather seats ripped at 100,000 miles, passenger window stopped working, heated seats stopped working. I can't explain it. This car had a few too many problems and I should be totally dragging it through the mud but I still wish I had that car and probably always will. Too bad Jeep went and made it look like a BMW X5 rip off and made it look terrible. In my opinion Jeep needs to get away from the round lights and get back to the square lights. The current Grand Cherokee would probably benefit a lot from having squarer lights. Buy it. I loved it. I'm sure you will too. Owner for 6 years, 0 months Miles Driven per Year:137,000 |

Great All Purpose Suv — This was my first car when i came to the states. I loved to drive it. High visibility, steady driving, and some serious power under the hood. was able to avoid a exploded truck tire at over 80 mph. Regret not having it any more. Mine was a white one. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: luxureous feeling Cons: mileage 18 mpg |

Great Car And Always Will Be-never Disappoints-surprises You When You Lack Confidence In It — Acceleration is adequate, braking is firm, handling is good for a SUV. Build Quality is excellent-No squeaks/rattles (everything still works as new) except the 4wd has issues with the Automatic Hubs sometimes. Other than that the car is very reliable and has never broken down, malfunctioned, etc (although that is most likely due to the intense care 'Oil Change every 3 thousand miles and kept in a garage being driven easily and rarely') Appearance-Sometimes i think its a nice looking car and sometimes i wish the front end were different. I do believe that the overall contour of the front end is a little too 'Wrangler' like with the extreme box shapes and edges along with the perfectly square headlights with the protruding bumper. Cost-For an SUV and its age the cost is very good. If driven lightly you can reach up to 20 miles per gallon AVG in city/hwy (16 City), (20-25 hwy). As well as maintenance, it is fairly cheap for an SUV and never has had an unexpected mishap. The car is not thrilling to drive although you do feel a sense of security in the steering and body movements, as well as surprisingly small blind spots-that can be fixed with adjusting the side mirrors properly. even the doors are a bonus (when your in a hurry or just don't push hard enough on the door to close you are always surprised that it closes; due to the positioning of springs and hinges where the door holds itself open and swings closed)- I suppose it is 'fun' when you need to off-road though. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: Sense of Security-Agile-Tough-Gas Mileage among other SUV's-Large Cubic Storage with seats flat Cons: Not exceptionally roomy in the rear seat-Not great to be cruising around the city in for MPG frame of mind-Firm Ride (Don't take long trips) |
