Does Everything Good Not 2 Many Greats — The 4x4 on this thing is great it goes anywhere you have the guts to go. not that good on gas but for a V8 its ok. love the steering wheel controls for the radio. wishing for a safari rack and a lift lol Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: the 4x4 Cons: Electronic issues ![]() Looking for a Used Grand Cherokee in your area?CarGurus has 41,645 nationwide Grand Cherokee listings starting at $1,995. |

Great Suv — Very Fast and Loud.0-60 time of 6.5 seconds. biggest draw back is the MPG which is 10 in city. on highway its about 17-18. Flooring it drops it to about 4 mpg. 6" lift on it makes it very off road capable. Nice big leather seats and sunroof. Black interior sucks for Utah. Has 190,000 miles and works pretty good. needs transmission work soon to fix the occasional hard shifts under full power. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Fast and Loud Cons: Gas Guzzler |

I Dont Care About The Gas When It Goes That Fast...lol — all i have to say is its very fast....this is a picture of it before the wider tires and rims but let me tell you any cars wanna throw down some cash...lol...only thing is it gets about 8.5 mpg which isnt good...but thats because of the horsepower. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: soooo comfortable and fast!!!! Cons: gas mileage is about 8.5 mpg right now...lol |

Great For The Winter, Like A Tank, Awesome Cruiser And Sporty For The Summer, Great Suv... — well the only thing to dislike is the 12.3 average mpg i get, but on the other hand what i love is sitting in front of Aamco on columbia turnpike and having a new ford mustand come along side me and rev his engine so we go from the light to the light in front of k-mart and i kick his butt...lol Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: great power and good look for an suv with lots of room and comfort. Cons: if you need mpg's, go somewhere else. |

I'd Get 4wd Next Time And A V8 — It's performance is less than acceptable. The acceleration is less than desirable, but I am surprised with it's braking abilitly. That is pretty good. It handles alright, not great but pretty good for a top heavy SUV. It's a pretty tough car especially for a two wheel drive. As far as appearances go it's tanklike. Gas mileage is terrible. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: It's a Jeep...nuf said. Cons: It's a Jeep |

Has Met All Of My Expectations For Over 12 Years. — A 4" lift kit w/ BFG's makes this a comfortable yet nearly unstoppable force for the road and very fun offroad with only stock drivetrain, chassis, and undercarrage protection. This vehicle has served as primary family transportation for 12+ years while also offering offroad thrills. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: Torque at a moments notice, comfortable highway ride, never stuck through 24" snow and while Cons: Thirsty for the good stuff -13 mpg combined on premium. Soft stock brakes. |

Excellently Built... Pretty Much Bulletproof — I have the funds to upgrade this vehicle however I would be stupid to. This thing is A TANK, with decent towing, passing, hauling, and off roading power. I don't baby this car and yet it won't die. Leather, Sunroof, power, room, towing, and 4 wheel drive is all I need as of now, so why change it. I'm running this thing til it dies.... Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.) Pros: Not expensive to own Cons: If you need a pick-up truck? |

Love The Zj — This was my wife's car, though I got to drive it for work. The G.C. never let me down. Gas mileage was rotten (13, 14 in the city...it'd do 18-20 on the highway, though), but with the 318 V8 I really didn't care too much. Plenty of power for any situation...and it sounded great with the Flowmaster muffler. Handling was about what you'd expect out of an SUV...you're not going to go looking for any curvy roads to blast down. It never felt unsafe, though. I've always loved the styling of the 1st gen. Grand Cherokee. It's standing the test of time well, I believe. The interior was very nice...comfortable, soft leather seats with heat (I miss this a lot!), nice Infinity stereo, and the build quality was good. Only a few cheap trim pieces here and there. We never had to do much to the Jeep, but when we did, replacement parts were inexpensive. It was starting to get a little worn out by the time we got rid of it, but it never let us down and was fantastic in the snow. I miss this car very much. The only thing that could possibly top it is if I could find a relatively unabused 5.9 for sale somewhere... Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: Nice V8 power and sound, comfortable interior, reliable, inexpensive to repair Cons: Poor gas mileage around town |

If It's Raw Power You Want Buy A Zj — Plenty of mods so braking is worse and acceleration and handling are a lot better. Build quality is excellent, needed repairs but that was due to lack of care from prev. owner. Gas is cheap and I do my own maintenance. The car is bloody great fun to drive, strong, fast and powerful. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Its a beast Cons: Normally have been abused by prev. owners |

Unstoppable — It could do anything! Always started, always pushed through sand, snow, water couldn't stop it. It could haul things, tow things, It was comfy. Even when it was on it's last legs - 264000 miles - it still ran1 It had a "frozen" Tensioner, Rear Transmission was seizing, Oil was leaking. We were still able to drive it to the dealership! Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: ultra-relaible Cons: couldn't pass a gas station |
