Beaut Ute! — This is my ute - VS Holden Commodore s2, bought stock standard with 16" VX rims on it last year after my VP S pak ute was written off (mindless P plater!).. since then I've put heavy duty lowered springs in her, front strut bar, 18" VY SS rims, Hard lid, clear tail lights in and a 07 in dash Sony dvd player - Theres a VY HSV kit waiting to go on... overall I haven't gone nuts on her.. but none the less Im very happy.. I love the way she hugs the corners with absolute no body roll, she's doesn't disappoint or miss a beat.. The only thing I would faulter with her is the petrol costs.. but in the last month I just got a nissan pulsar to cut on costs so I can definately keep the kms low now makin sure my babe is a beaut ute..!

Pros: Clean, tidy, reliable, kick ass sound system, hugs corners!

Cons: Petrol costs :(  She wouldn't be as expensive to run if petrol didn't cost soo much!

I Know Its Aging, But I Love It — I has lowered HSV springs, hard but very confidence enspiring, and oh the stereo is enough to enjoy for hours...

Pros: Handling, looks, power and ability to juse cruise cruise cruise

Cons: Its pretty economical, but sometimes i do wish i had a four..

3lt Ohc 6cyl, Auto — The only saving grace this car has is the 3lt motor they "borrowed" from the DR30 Nissan Skyline, although it could also be seen as the cause of the problems. You see this motor is too powerful for the driveline fitted to this car..I went through 2 g/boxs, 3 flex plates, 2 driveshafts, and 2 diffs. basically everything with a holden part number on it either sheers off or snaps in half.

Pros: 3lt RB30 Nissan Engine

Cons: driveline has the strenght of a 2 week old kitten

Pros: Drives well, comfortable, lots of room, looks awesome

Cons: Not as powerful as expected I still prefer the VN for power

Not Bad Around Town, Great On Longer Trips — Good re;iable car that has been driven across the continent several times. Has plenty of power to tow a trailer and still enough grunt to easily overtake other vehicles. Will cruise on 130 km/hr all day easily.

Pros: plenty of room, decent pick-up for overtaking, enough power to tow trailer easily, reliable for cross country trips, station wagon provides plenty of room for dog/cargo.

Cons: uses a lot of fuel around town, large fuel tank, can't fix squeaky brakes, getting old
