    Could Be Worse —

ahah the ford. well this car as you may know is just one of the most ugly things on the road and is reserved for mostly old people or for people who cannot afford well a better car. However i do have to say this car does have great pickup and weve generated some tire spin before lol. The breaks are also something to commend. the sterio sucks but works and thats what matters rightl. Oo speaking of working good luck finding one with a working power antenna i know our kind of works but doesnt go all the way down. The ride is not that great and the seats are a bit uncomfertable but if ur a teen ull be saying its a car lol. Buiild quality its an american car so ur probably say umm no. However in all of its 10 year life its just barely biginning to show porblems. However with resale foreget it ur loosing all sorts of cash. Our is worth 2500 which is 300 less than the volvo we also have which is 5 years older! however this car does have 8 seats which is nice when ur lugging people around. be careful though this car is low to the ground. anywasi really woldnt suggest this car try something else.

    Pros: good pickup

Cons: ride, gas milage, radio, seats

Underrated Car — Aside from the occasional soft plug blowing out on the engine block... good car. All curves, no lines in styling. Gets you there without fuss.

Pros: Solid reputation?  Good family car

Cons: Brake lines corroded easily from road salt, brass soft plug blew out at least once, not much in the way of aggressive styling, door open light and overhead light stay on even when door's closed

Overall A Good Car. — Bought it from my sister a year and a half ago, drove it from 148,000 miles to 165,000 before a problem popped up. Then, I found out the transmission fluid was changed only 3-4 times (supposed to be once every 30,000 miles... You do the math.) Then, the transmission pump (literally) shattered in the valve body, causing the transmission to not do anything at all. We threw a new valve body on thurr and she was good to go for a bit. Then the power steering and fuel pump went. Fixed that, then the transmission popped its "lower input drum" (don't ask me what that is, that's just what the tranny shop said) at 169,500 miles, apparently the metal from the pump went everywhere inside the transmission. Anyways, got it rebuilt ($1865), and now it's running good again. 173,000 miles. In synopsis, CHANGE THE TRANSMISSION FLUID AS SCHEDULED!

Pros: Never had a problem with the engine, even though it was also neglected on oil changes for a while. Relatively good gas mileage considering it's a V6. Plenty of space. When it works, it works good. The look grows on you after you have had it for a while.

Cons: Transmission is very sensitive to you not changing the fluid, and you shouldn't floor it in 1st gear if you want the transmission lasting long. Also, it looks a little bit goofy

Worst Steering And Braking I've Ever Experienced. — Steering and brakes are very unresponsive, and the sound of the engine turning while accelerating is enough to make you cry. After a few years of ownership, the electrical systems started failing and parts falling off of the body.

Pros: So wide you could be t-boned by a John Deere and not feel a thing.

Cons: All the systems are unreliable, and after getting a good feel for the car you can tell it shouldn't be on the road.

Runs And Runs, Great Engine — i bought because i was desperate for soem wheels and ended up really appreciating this car for it's dependability and comfort. i'm not easy on it and in 3 yrs + of ownership has only had one problem (crank sensor). the transmission acted up for a while, i put in some lucas and eventually it seemed to repair itself...bonus lol.

Pros: bullet proof, can be easily drifted on the dirt roads

Cons: no rocket with the vulcan 3.0
