1998 Ford Explorer 4 Dr Limited 4WD SUVReview

1998 Ford Explorer 4wd Limited 4dr V8 — Its a good car, but needs to be replace because it is burning oil and has some body damage. The newer models of the car a little better designed with a few modifications but still have many of the same benefits that my car currently has. The Explorer Limited 4WD V8 cost approximately $35,000-$45,000 to purchase depending on the options included on the car. Hope you enjoy.

Pros: 4WD

Cons: MPG

The Exploder — I loved my explorer, I would still have it but we rolled over. That is the only downfall of this vehicle, it's roll-over rating is horrible. It was a loaded Sport model, leather seats were awesome, it had a big v6 engine and it ran excellent.

Pros: The ride

Cons: Rollovers

1998 Ford Exploder Xlt — I bougt the thing for 600 bucks after I lost my Chrysler Sebring. The exploder has 180K on it and I got it in shambles but I've fixed most of the problems, mainly the front awd driveshaft. and all new plugs.

Pros: Good solid vehicle to get me through my crater filled driveway

Cons: Not too good on gas  but then I only have to pay 28 bucks to fill it on empty.

Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition — This vehicle can handle everything you throw at it. The only problem is the bad gas mileage. You get about 13 - 15 in town and highest I have ever gotten was 22 on the highway. I love this vehicle though. =)

Pros: Great for winter

Cons: AWD, Gas mileage

John's Explorer — I think that this this was a very solid year for the Ford Explorer. The interior is very nice the seats are very comfy. The sound system is excelent for a 98. it handles very well for an SUV, and it looks very sharp, and I love it verry much!

Pros: It's looks great

Cons: The gas Mileage isn't so hot

Exploreder — I love my explorer! but now my grandma has it! but its ok i still drive sometimes! It held up really well...the paint job is the orginal one and the engine hasn't had any major break downs. I have been in one accident but the explorer got a new chrome grill so its tight now! lol!

Pros: Holds up, over 240,000 miles on it! Great paint job and replaced carpet!

Cons: It sucks up gas!

Love The V8. — This truck has over 118,000 miles on it and going strong. Sad to say gonna have to let her go, need more room to haul around family. Take care of this truck and it will take care of you. I love driving this car, has the power to pass when needed.

Pros: getting too small.

Cons: i don't have any.

Explorer — Solid car but after owning a little coupe it is not my choice car. People def move out of the way when i come down the road though. Its a gas hog and my muffler is wicked loud, people hear me before the see me. It has an awesome sound system with a six disc changer and alot of bass. Overall its a good car, never gotten stuck in the snow.

Pros: good in snow, good for hauling, good family car, good sound system

Cons: not good for cornering, gas hog

My Project Car — i put an engine in it because it was the 4.0 sohc that likes to come apart with the 5 timming chains i bought it from a customer at work. not bad except for the fuel economony. This is my favorite car that ive owned because it was my frist project car and its my first 4wd which i use weekly now

Pros: 4x4, leather, 7cd

Cons: mpg, but its not really that bad

Poo — man the overall performance of this thing pretty much sucked, it used up sooo much gas in soo little time it was unbelievable! the cost of the car itself was decent but the cost of actually owning this crap was an outrage it got 12 miles to the gallon and i had to repair twice a month at least i would not recommend this car to anyone

Pros: nice features like it tells you how many miles you've gone and your mileage

Cons: everything else :)
