Comfortable Car For Long Trips — It has a very smooth ride, comfortable saloon. Very good road performance and handling. Few infrequent repairs needed, but replacement parts are somewhat expensive. Reliable and very economical, especially on the highway. A real pleasure to drive on those long vacation trips. Pros: Ride, handling, interrior, gas mileage Cons: Expensive parts |

A Technical Masterpiece, Let Down By Too Much Technology. — This was a Xantia Activa. The first production car to have "active" suspension. Cornered like it was on rails when it worked, had a slight (expensive) list when it didn't. The engine was a turbo charged 2.0 litre petrol engine. Sounds good so far. However, it was a low pressure turbo and it put out 150BHP - so the car was much more suited to motorway cruising than to windy road sprinting. Citroen missed a trick with this car, making it neither one thing nor the other. All in all, a nice enough car but it never delivered what it promised. Pros: Great when it worked. Cons: Expensive to run and even more expensive to fix. |

One Of True Citroens — Well it was a bit of mixed feelings for me when I first bought it, because Citroen is a VERY specific brand of car. But after three years I absolutely love it. Pros: Comfort, reliability, handling Cons: bit sluggish for a 2.0L engine, long waiting time for some parts in Serbia |

Citroen Xantia 2.0 Lx 1993 By Rich
The 2.0 8v 123bhp engine is loud, uneconomical, unresponsive and slow. It does provide a reasonable quantity of torque though. Hydraulic suspension fun to play with, expensive to fix. Also sounds like... Read More
