Joe says:
Great power, looked awesome. tons of high dollar mechanic catastrophes with the computer, ac, many electrical shorts and so on, also its handling was dangerous with all that power. Almost crashed a number of times.

"More comfortable and the power seats never broke on me unlike the 1998, plus the 1998s are known to have their seats have rocking in them doesnt feel secure."

I Love The C5 Corvette! — In my opinion, the C5 is the best class of Corvettes and I love this car. Its the first Corvette I have ever owned and couldn't be more pleased. My wife and I love to put the top down and cruise around on the weekends, the car definitely turns heads. We don't use the car as a daily driver, but its the type of car that could be your primary vehicle. Though its a convertible, I was very pleased with the amount of trunk space (easily fits 2 sets of golf clubs).

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Style, power, performance, handling/stability, trunk space

Cons: If you are looking for a grocery getter or something to haul the kids around in, this isn't it!

Great Week-end Car. — Best driving car I have ever own. Handles great, more HP than you will ever need. Pretty good on gas as well. The interior is cheaply made, but the paint is great, shines good and the controls for everything are hard to use sometimes.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Handles great.

Cons: getting in and out of the car is an issue

Best Sports Car — I like just about everything; the maintenance is a little more than I like, but it is an awesome sports car. You do have to be careful when driving over speed bumps; it sits very low to the ground, about 3.5 inches.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Awesome, fun car. Great Power...although it is not a Z06

Cons: Only two seats, sits low to ground,

Best Fun Ever! — Very low cost on maintenance. I spend more for wax, polish and cleaning supplies than repairs. Actually the only maintence the car has required in 2 years, was new front brake pads. The car is only driven 1,500 miles a year.

Pros: This autombile is better than therapy. People old and young approach and engage in very interesting conversations. Winning 2 first place trophies last year.

Cons: The only negative: the long New England winters when the Corvette stays in the garage under the cover on its jackstands.

At First Glance You'll Say Wow! — I love everything and dislike nothing about my corvette. These cars are very fun to own. I recommend any sports car enthusiast to get into one of these. Now these days you can get a C5 for a good price!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Good power, great looks and handling

Cons: None

Great Other Then She Is Not A Convertable — with the LS1 engine the crank shaft pulley had to be changed at 50,000 miles, I think the dealership I took it to screwed her up just to have me come back for service & repairs or to trade her for something else? new belts every year, recharge the a/c ever year, until they changed the a/c compressor, it still leaks & needs a recharge once again, this time instead of wasting $300 per rechage I did it by myself & bought over the counter at Auto Zone in Derry, NH 3 cans of frion 134A

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: this is a really beautiful torch red Z06 coupe, very fast car, with a stainless steel Bola exhaust system with 2 large exhaust tips out the rear, not 4 like all the Corvette's, she also has the side vents for cooling off the rear brakes system, not all Corvettes have that, chrome Z06 wheels 17 inch on front & 18 inch on rear, on the super high way,  if I dreive her normally or on cruise control, I get 30 mph per gallon of Sunoco 94 Octane gasolione bought in New Hampshire at $3.50 per gallom

Cons: she has no cd built into the am/fm radio

98 Vette — I have had it since 2006 and use it as a daily driver, getting 26 or 27 mpg average. It is the best car I have ever owned. The only reason I would sell it is to get a newer one.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great bang for your buck

Cons: None

This Car Very Very Fun — This car was fun to drive and powerful enough to enjoy on long road trips. Had many nice features and accessories. It was solid as to fit and finish. I always worried about scraping the bottom going into driveways. Despite hoping to own it a long time, it was nearly crushed when a mini monster truck drove over its rear end.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Comfortable with good gas mileage for  a V8.

Cons: died too young
