The First Vehicle I Ever Drove. — It's cool to say that the first car I drove was a Beemer. Compared to my little rice burner, though, this car was heavy. I didn't really realize that till I was on a long car trip in it. My arms got tired! I know, that's lame. But true. Whenever it needed repairs, you remembered it was a luxury car, because they were costly fixes. Now my dad leases the new ones, so all the maintainance is included.

Pros: It's a BMW!

Cons: Luxury = $$$

Beautiful Car That Drives Amazing — the car is amazing. It's very quick with the 2.8L engine. The size and handling are awesome. Back seat is TINY though. (Im 6'2" 180 lbs) The rear seat belts are on the wrong sides ??Will run great if you take car of it! Preventative maintenance is KEY

Pros: amazing drive, beautiful car

Cons: must be maintained, grey interior looks dirty all the time. tan or black is way more classy. no space in the back seat.

Smooth Operator — Balancer shafts (pre-valvetronic) made this the smoothest 4-pot I had ever driven. Handling is typically BMW impeccable.

Pros: Sporty handling for a saloon. Smooth 4-pot.

Cons: Thermostat in expansion tank tends to get stuck. Lack of power.

2.8 Litre, M3 Go Fast Bits - Impressive Track Car — E36 316ti Compact with worked 2.8 litre motor, and upgraded suspension and brakes. Used as car club device. Every bit as good as the equivilant M3.

Pros: Balance, power

Cons: Not as well suited to the road as an M3

A Driver's Car — This car is amazing at everything. Since it's a four door sedan, you might not expect it to handle like a sports car, but it does. In fact, I, an amateur driver, drive it very aggressively on the most difficult race track in the world, the Neurburgring. The brakes along with the handling are adequate as well. I put a lot of miles on my car. I drove it 15 hours straight from Oklahoma City up into Montana on the way back home in Washington. I was very comfortable the whole time. It took 5 hours to drive each 400 miles averaging 80 mph the whole drive that day. I'll add more when I'm inspired to do so later.

Pros: Durable in every way. I drive my car hard and it never lets up.
Handling has saved me from crashing multiple times.
Comes stock with dual exhaust, "headers" and a tunnel ram air intake.
Runs 16.3 seconds in the quarter mile.

Cons: None. It's everything you could want in a car.

One Fun Little Hatchback — I test drove the '98 BMW 318i for two days and fell in love with it. The car was so much fun to drive! The suspension was tight and very sporty. Driving this car was a blast!

Pros: Fun car to drive!

Cons: The interior is a little crammed.

A Comfortable Cruiser — I drove my friend's '98 BMW 328i convertible for a day and thought that it was a pleasant cruiser. The car didn't guzzle gas and the suspension was perfect for a Sunday cruise.

Pros: A comfortable ride. Perfect for a Sunday cruise.

Cons: Kind of a feminine car.
