Easily One Of The Best In Its Class — The Best bit about this car has to be the Fuel Efficiency, vauxhall claim it can do 41mpg, i reckon i am currently getting about 45mpg. unfortunately fuel efficiency comes at the cost of performance, although it can fair move eventually but off the mark its a leaves a bit to be desired. honestly i expected a bit more from a 1.2. my previous car was a 1.1 and still packed more punch. braking is good, it can stop very quickly when needed and so far i have not experienced any heavy braking issues such as it pulling to one side or the back end moving out. build quality is fine for now, this car as very low mileage for its age and thus it is hard to judge its build quality for at least another 25000 miles or so. The overall appearance of the car tends to grow on you over time, although a big issue with fading paintwork the general shape and design are quite good. The seats are easily ruined apparently aswell although this may just have being abuse from the previous owner, either way seat covers are recommended. Cost of ownership is relatively low compared to other cars in its class, as mentioned earlier fuel efficiency is excellent and even for young drivers the insurance is relatively low as it sits in group 3 for the 1.2 Corsa merit, (my previous car the ford fiesta lx 1.1 was group 6). tax is also remaining low despite the governments efforts to squeeze more and more money out of the British motorist under the pretense of environmentalism (special emphasis on 'Mentalism'). Being a steady driver i would say this car is fun to drive although reports from other websites/people suggest that if you push it too hard into a corner it will kill you eventually, however i have experienced nothing of this even when turning sharply, the car just goes round the corner if and when i tell it to. Recently took this on a long motorway journey, (Some 70 miles or so passing through Most of bradford, Leeds and York along the way.) although not a big executive cruiser it was remarkably comfortable to be in for so long (about 3 hours after getting through leeds AND york). amazingly however i managed to get there and back on just over half a tank of fuel covering about 170-180 miles in total over the whole holiday.

Pros: Fuel Efficiency, cheap to run, insurance etc

Cons: 0-60mph sometime next week. Popular with boy racers so care must be taken to avoid a tired, beaten car when buying.

My First Car — I passed mt test when I was 17 and this was my first car. I had it for a year and half before I p/x it towards my Ford Focus. As standard it had a sunroof, alloys, matching bumper and body colour and slight tint in the windows. I had a cd player, 6x9 speakers in the parcel shelf and a blue sunstrip visor. Alright for the meantime but wouldn't have another one. My brother's first car is the same car and model - after driving it for a reminder, much rather my car!! Soz Martin lol

Pros: Petrol lasted forever (1.0 litre engine), liked the colour - a reliable runaround

Cons: Slow, chugged up hills and no power steering (get used to it in the end)

Not A Bad Car For A Run Around — Been quite reliable but as its getting old now its startin to cost me money. Cant really complain about it, just that it wont start 1st time if its been raining!!! It could snow all night and be freezing and it would start, it just doesn't like the rain!!!!

Pros: Dead reliable

Cons: It wont start 1st time when its been rainin lol
