I Love Awd — So AWD is probably the best invention ever, subaru's can go anywhere.

Pros: the cars last forever and AWD, as mentioned before.  My car as 184K miles on it, and it is still running smoothly.

Cons: gas tanks in subaru's are notorious for rusting out, so not only do you have to replace them, but they are hard to find used because they always rust out...

Amc Pacer Reborn With All Wheel Drive. — Using the same platform, suspension, and drivetrain layout as the 1995 World Rally champion, it was the closest thing to a street legal rally car you could buy in 1997. With all wheel drive and Subaru reliability there's not much to say other than it was fun to drive. At the time a 2.2 L 137 HP flat four was all that was available. Amazing how much more hp they get out of basically the same engine only a few years later.

Pros: All wheel drive, good ground clearance, rock solid stable in all road conditions.

Cons: ABS was overly sensitive and there was no way to turn it off.

It Was A Sport But Still Great Fun — May not be a turbo but it was perfect on the A roads and oh so much fun in Scotland.

Pros: Looks

Cons: non-turbo

Its A Subaru. — 1989 Subaru Justy GL II 4WD 1.2ltr natrually aspirated straight 3 cylinder 9v 0 -62mph 12 s Top speed 100mph 4WD Petrol Excellent car, drives extremely well, handling tends to oversteer a little. Quite nippy considering 20 years old. Excellent offroad except there is no centre differential giving groos understeer especially in the snow! Otherwise good grip. Very reliable, mechanically - rust isnt too bad. Economy is appaling - 35 mpg with parts costing a fortune.

Pros: 4WD

Cons: No centre differential

Fast And Thirsty — This was my dream car and the most expensive i have ever brought. I can't describe the handling, cause itr's unreal. The better the tyre the better it is. This all come with a major impact though. It isn't cheap motoring. Bets i have ever had is 30 mpg and norm is about 24. Once i got 16 but i wont go into that cuse it was very spirited driving. Insurance isn't that bad no worse than the mondeo i have. BUt parts services and fuel costs are sky high. I am proud to of owned her and have trouble with the idea of selling her, but unless i was a lot more finacially well off i wouldn't ever get another.

Pros: Power and handling

Cons: Cost to run.

A Good Fun Car And Very Reliable — Performance on this car was very good handled like it was on rails also very nice to drive. Interior was a bit tacky but who cares! The seats were brilliant they held me in place going round bends, the standard brakes are a bit of a let down very thirsty on petrol but also very reliable i had it 3 years and had no problems even though i drove it very hard.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Sounds great and handled very good

Cons: Insurance and Very thirsty on petrol

Good Value — I took it to 225,000 miles before it was totaled in 2012. I should have gotten another 2 years (18 years of service life) out of it before the body rust would be beyond repair. The windshield could not be simply replaced due to body rust. Rear quarter panels were showing rust bubbles. I was averaging 24MPG in a fairly mountainous zone. At 212,000 the transmission seals needed to be replaced. The oil leaked out and I was lucky to catch it before I burned out the transmission.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Long service life. Did not burn oil.

Cons: Hubcaps all fell off.  Rear wiper fluid failed. ABS brakes stopped working 5 years ago and it was not  a simple fix (quoted $800).
