Shame It Wasnt Assembled In Japan — Head gasket went after the first few thousand miles. Had it repaired with a higher strength Land Rover gasket and has been perfect since. Let down by noises and rattles. Faulty switches and loose door cards left, right, center. VVC was very clever and goes well too.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Can be fun on the A Roads.

Cons: rattly build quality.

Rover Coupe Vvc — ROVER COUPE 218VVC PROBLY THE BEST ROVER MADE. Quick, Handles like its on rails, looks good. But it is falling apart. Its a WOLF in SHEEPS clothing haha. THE vvc mech is like a honda vtec but it is engaged as soon as u put your foot down rather than at a certain amount of revs like hondas.

Pros: Fast, cheap, looks good, people wont expect to be ROVER-TAKEN when they race you

Cons: Rusts in the wheel arches, headgasket trouble, loose panels rattle.
