Fun Fun Fun! — Very sexy! It corners very well and for a non-turbo has plenty of power. However... cops love it as well...

Pros: Low, fast, tight, smooth, nimble, sexy...

Cons: Not a turbo... yet...

Fast And Fun! — It is a great car for not too much money, although theyre hard to find in good condition the extra effort is worth the results. The car performs great just off of the lot, but putting in minor upgrades can up the performance for pretty cheap! Definatly a real head turner, do not buy one if you dont like people constantly looking at your car.

Pros: Fast, fun, drives great, a real head turner!

Cons: Transmission problems will most likely occur somewhere down the line.

Looks Good From The Outside. — I like this car alot, but one thing that I have noticed is the reliability. No problems with the engine/transmission what-so-ever but the battery is not so reliable. It's probably because my subwoofers draw so much power that it kills my battery. The car is lowered so much that it scrapes on everything and I had to spend $1200 getting new suspension in the front. The oil filter sits extremely low due to an adapter put on by the previous owners for an aftermarket oil pressure gauge, and the oil filter would scrape and get holes in it. That problem is fixed now. The car is great all around but a few minor problems lead me to believe that a Honda would be a better option. I always regret getting rid of my Ford Focus.

Pros: Looks great. Drives and handles corners excellent, but I'm sure any car that is lowered would do the same. Engine is very strong and reliable.

Cons: Too low, it limits where I can drive....even through town. Speed bumps are hell.

Sporty And Fun — Great car for anyone single. Awesome on gas. Interior is pretty spacious in the front, not so much the back. Alot of trunk space. I love the way everything wrapped around the driver and was in quick reach. If you as a short throw shifter it makes a big difference in the acceleration. The one drawback i had was the steering. Not a good radius.

Pros: Great gas, Awesome environment for the driver. Great if short shifter is installed. Bumpers will take a beating.

Cons: Not a good taxi.  Sucky turn radius.  Huge blind spot in the back rear corner.

Dsm — The car is very nice, but DSM's are very difficult to work on. The turbo spools at about 2500 rpm and it sounds amazing. There are plenty of parts out there to help you make it yours, but not a lot needs to be done.

Pros: Turbo.  Decent mpg and relatively cheap to maintain.

Cons: Hard to work on.  Crankwalk.  In my opinion the stock appearance isn't all too great.

First Car — This was my first car, Began modifying the intake an exhaust etc. Eventually had every performance bolt on there was. loved it, very efficient little car. eventually outgrew it when I can no longer get traction in 3rd.

Pros: Good starter car, strong aftermarket, easy to modify. bang for buck in its price range, loves boost

Cons: Traction becomes an issue in the 400hp range

It Was Fun... — I had an auto tranny in my 97' and it held up fairly well considering the amount of power the car put out on a mostly stock 7 bolt. I blew the motor after reaching around 300hp and a bad tune. The car looked amazing and was a blast to drive especially on the interstate with a decent sized turbo and cams. I loved this car and hated when it was totalled and I ended up with a 95.

Pros: Looks gorgeous and overall performs surprisingly well

Cons: It's a dsm...it will never be all that reliable

Fast And Furious — Got 230000 miles out of my Betty Sue, it was a thrill when it first came out, taught me the meaning of 'joy ride'. If you take care of it, it should last you a long time, I did regular maintenace, using full synth oil three times a year and premium fuel. I only put on minor modifications like a K&N air filter and Blitz blow off value. There was turbo lag I noticed during it's latter years. The last three years I noticed the panelling falling apart and other interior items seemed to be made of cheap material. The AWD was nice in the winter and rain. Overall it was a fun car to drive and had some good times with it. Always a crowd pleaser. I will miss it.

Owner for 11 years, 0 months

Miles Driven per Year:22,000

Pros: Aggressive styling, fun ride, good times, fast, AWD

Cons: Quality of interior parts not very good, fuel injector issues,
