Great Jeep If You Can Afford The Gas. — This has been a great Jeep. Reliability has been pretty good. I've had the fuel pump go bad on me and the fan clutch and water pump, everything else has worked perfect. The transmission is starting to have a couple issues with shifting from 2nd to 3rd and it is a common problem with the vehicles but once rebuilt the rebuild kit comes with a better seal that fixes this problem. The Orvis is fun to drive in the snow and performs excellent off-road. During the summer months it is kind of bland to drive because on-road handling is weak. I would never sell it and I'm going to try to keep it going forever.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Stock offroad capability and snow traction

    Cons: MPG

It Will Hit 340000km Sometime Soon! — This has been a fantastic vehicle. Low maintenance, tough, power full and just won't die. The last 4 years it has been my winter vehicle. I know the end is coming near but it just means a newer vehicle soon.

Fun — It is overall a pretty nice ride but I have the 5.2L V8 and it is sure a gas guzzler. It is a 4X4 which means there is a lot more maintenance. It handles pretty good and it has decent acceleration. Finally over 40 words...lol...

My Couch On Wheels — It goes when you press the accelerator, stops when you press the brakes. V8 power when you need it, but accompanying fuel economy. Parts are cheap and easy to find. Good time off road, not too much excitement on the pavement.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: SUV capability in a good size

    Cons: Gas mileage

Ehh — J.ust E.mpty E.very P.ocket.. It's a Jeep.. Fun to take off on the dirt roads or climbing rocks.. It's ok as an everyday car as well.. but I end up spending more fixing the jeep every 4 months than I did to purchase it!

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fun for off road..  Sturdy vehicle

    Cons: Always needs fixing

97 Zj — Only had it a few weeks, but so far so good. Had to do some small repairs on gaskets and seals, but nothing serious. Drives well, performs well, handles the snow perfectly. Great car for a student. Love that the seats can fold back and make a bigger bed area.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Seems to be a good car

Cons: Stupid stuff needs fixing. Gaskets, seals, etc.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: it works reasonably priced and are tough
