The Prelude — The preludes accel is excellent as long as the cable isnt stretching. Braking is powerful. and handling is excellent after you do the lowering of the vehicle and all the other little things to do to the suspension. but other then that it is really fun to drive.

Pros: Great accel. and powerful brakes.

Cons: stretching accel cable and stock suspension.

Plenty Of Power And Style — I recently bought this car. I love the lines of this car. It handles like a champ and has plenty of power. Mine is the SH model although the ATTS does not work in it, I still love it. The seats are amazingly comfortable on long trips.

    Pros: everything

    Cons: none

Amazing Japanese Engineering — My Honda Prelude is absolutly amazing. It is very fast, and looks so beautiful. Unfortunatly it is an automatic, but even that is ok since it gives me the option of driving it as a manual. The VTEC is awesome when it kicks in at 5500 RPM. Best Car Ever.

Pros: Looks, Speed, Comfort, Almost Everything

    Cons: Automatic

Nicest Prelude Around! — The car is pretty fast, responsive and sharp looking. It is type S model so is has lsd and all wheel steering. it's green. car is bone stock. the sound system is pretty good for stock too. it is fairly economical and parts are easily accessable. top speed 145 mph so far.

Pros: fast, affordable on gas, good looking

    Cons: attracts cops and attention.

97 Honda Prelude — Though i've only had this car for a short period of time, this is an amazing car. after i had an accident with it, it was still moving without any problems. the seats are comfortable. and the pick up is amazing. a lot of power, especially for a 97 4-banger. the stock audio system is great too, car looks great as well, looks new, even though its twelve years old. when i crashed i felt safe as you could feel in a car accident.

Pros: Audio, Comfortable, Pick-up, V-TEC, Reliable

Cons: Small back seat, ive hit my head over bumps a few times on the ceiling of the car, really easy to bottom out.

Favorite Car — handles perfectly. i love this car more than anything. has amazing stock power for a four cylinder. it has needed suspension work though. nothing too major. i bought it for a very affordable price. this car is very fun to drive. i wouldnt trade it for the world. you should buy one.

    Pros: the power and handling

Cons: getting old with high mileage

My Favorite Car I've Owned So Far — I really like this car! any one who is into hondas should drive on in my opinion. the styling of the prelude is love it or hate it from 97 on as the car went from a streched to sportier civic appearance to a apearince more like that of a more modernized version of the 80-91' models. this one of the things that killed it in its time because it was marketed to a younger crowd who thought it looked less edgy than the prelude that they had become usued to. I feel though that the 5th gen has looks that will grow on you very quickly as the car doesnt really have a bad angle to look at it from. performance wise, it has the H22 VTEC witch put out more hp and tourqe than most of the other hondas at the time at 197 hp and 158ft. lbs. of tourqe. like the integra its fun to drive which translates to drive responsable or you're liable to get a ticket ;P.

Pros: fun and pretty quick for its age (OMG its 11 yrs old now) great tuner

Cons: discontenued in 01' so parts starting to become hard to find

Prelude: Coulda Been Shoulda Been — It's a Honda. It's only weakness is the automatic transmission that unfortunately has, in my case, been problematic. That is the only problem I've had with the car. The grip and acceleration are excelent and it loves to be pushed.

    Pros: Engine, Handling, Look

    Cons: Automatic Transmission

Summer Vehicle That Will Be For Sale Soon. — I bought this 5 years ago from the original owner. The car is almost 12 years old and still drives like new. It has never seen winter and currently has 67,000km on it. I plan on selling it later this year or next to buy a Honda S2000.

Pros: Performance (If you push it past 5000RPM), handling, nice highway ride, good resale value, reliable, fun to drive, built very well, sounds great!

Cons: Pushing it beyond 5000RPM is addicting...which leads to bad MPG, requires supreme gas.

Sophisticated Coupe — Fun car that costs nothing to maintain

Pros: Fun to drive, good acceleration, excellent reliability. A classy looking car in an immature looking class. Mileage was always around 30MPG city/highway combined

Cons: only 200HP limited the performance, not very cutting edge in the technology department, smallish backseat when driver is tall
