One Of The Best Cars Honda Has Made. — Mid level Performance Luxury coupe. 200hp stock from a 4 cylinder, what more to say? No squeeks. Interior looks the same as it did from the factory years ago. Exterior is mild but nice. Parts are somewhat cheap, and gets high 20's gas mileage.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Sporty, comfortable, reliable.

Cons: Front wheel drive, heavy to be racing.

Very Good — Performance: 0-60 in under 6sec, corners nicely, brakes are strong, but is a bit on the heavy side. Build Quality is excellent Appearance is quite nice for a Honda I paid about 6200 for mine w/88k on the odometer I get 25-30mpg with 5speed manual It is fun to drive, but hard to take passengers

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Engine is quick and easy to handle

Cons: Heavy

Very Solid Car And Smooth Drive Advise To Anyone, — small amount of rust build up on brake calipers but 11 yrs of driving can do this i suppose. small amount of wheel wobble under extreme braking but could be balance of wheels. overall really good car compared to my 03 Daewoo lanos which cost twice as much and repair bills cost twice as much. go Honda

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: really fast and solid build quality

Cons: wish id bought it sooner, and insurance price?

Buy Certified — Performance was pretty good. Build was probably really good when bought new. Appearance was really sleek since I had a body kit and custom paint. Gas mileage was pretty low for a 4 cyl. Really fun to drive until the clutch gave out

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: looks, power

Cons: gas mileage

Prelude — Great car, never had any problems and this is the second one I have owned. Good performance. Maintenance is easier than baking a cake. I wish it wasn't red though because the Honda red seems to oxidize easily. Overall it is amazing.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Acceleration, dependability, unique and somewhat rare.

Cons: The red oxidizes.

Awesome! — Needs some body work! But fast as hell! 12lbs of boost, needs to be retuned as well as bigger piping....who puts 2" piping!!! If you wanna race let me know! Honda Prelude '97 with only 100000 miles on it!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Boosted! Gotta love it!

Cons: Its skech on the build....i have random parts in it that I dont even know about!

Love It — all in all the best vehicle i have ever owned. but its a honda what do u expect lol. it is well put together and besides needing the seals replaced on the motor and tranny it has been a great car overall. but the seal problem is a common one in ALL hondas

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: best speed 2 mpg you can get

Cons: 2 doors which i like

Durable Car -- Trust Me, Im Cursed! — This is the longest lasting car I've had. Problems were easy and cheap to fix. The gas mileage was GREAT! Easy to handle, appearance was nice (both inside and out), retained it's value pretty good! Fun and easy to drive!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: RELIABLE!

Cons: NOT A FAMILY CAR!!!!!

Honda Prelude Sh — SH and means it! Super handling, tight steering, power breaks, fast. Put in a cold air intake, carbon fiber hood, and new black rims and wheels. I love to drive it! Pretty good gas mileage..about 24 mpg. Drives solid and feels like solid quality. No rattling or squeaking ever. Low low low to the ground, and absolutely beautiful. My little racer :]

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: everything!

Cons: it needs a new clutch..raced out.

Highliy Recommended. Get It In Stick!!! — Personally I love the exterior styling of the Prelude, which still looks fresh 12 years after its debut. Performance wise, it combines fun, tossable handling and snappy (but not overwhelming) acceleration with decent city mileage. Best of all, I have yet to face a serious maintenance issue. On the downside, premium gas and poor highway efficiency drive up the costs of road trips, and the dark interior will only hold two adults comfortably.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fun, reliable, and attractive.

Cons: Small, with poor highway mileage.
