Great Compact Car — simple 4 cyl. standard car. LX does not have rear disc break so, breaking was not that quick. Cost of ownership was very low cost. This car is fun to drive on highway. Easy with interior controller.. Exterior looks sporty...

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Low cost in fuel

Cons: Break need to be disc... not drum

First Car — It looks better than the newer versions of accord (except da new ones), It has great speakers because it's already loud and has a nice base by just using a an amplified receiver. It is easy to customize and has low maintenance. It's a Honda, Duh!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: speakers, paint job

Cons: Factory supplied rims (its not as stylish) haha

Good Car. — I like my car because she is the first car that I have owned and driven with my license. Gas mileage is good, it's comfortable, but I do need a new timing belt. The brakes are needing some repair also.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It's comfortable.

Cons: It's old.

Good, Solid Car, But Would Like It To Be Manual . . . — Overall its a very good car, goes well, handles well, its got all the fancy stuff. It collects dust and looks real scruffy if you dont wash it regularly. And because it is American built the parts for it are much more expensive as I have found out.

Pros: It handles like a go-cart. And is very predictable.

Cons: After 170,000 ks the VTEC activator apparently becomes weak or something.

A Steal —

Baught a 1997 Accord in 2006.I went to every dealership in Jacksonville,Fl for 2 weeks. And i finally found one! But there was only problem it was being cleaned for another potential buyer. But she was not there and the salesmen was gonna call her when it was ready. But he said it was mine if i stayed around that was the longest 4hrs of my life. Fianlly she "The Car" came around the corner.I test drove her. And needless to say i was in love. As soon as i signed the letter of intent the other potential buyer came back with her son to buy the car but it was all mines!!! It had 128,000 miles for only $6400!! Some people might say thats alot, but it was in excellent condition. Clean and quiet engine, exterior and interior was spotless. A few dings here and there but it looked like the car was in a car show every since it came off the production line. It still had the original cassette deck and floor mats! Not to mention the previous owner did not smoke it in!It was a steal i had to grab it! Its was clean and it still is! Its get excellent gas milage city and highway!

Pros: Everything

Cons: Can't think of any

1997 Honda Accord — Its a good car, handles well and has a good amount of low end torque which provide a surprisingly enjoyable drive. Build quality is adequate but has power steering and rust issues. It has a good, unassuming but pleasant appearance and a nice interior for the age. Overall, good car but there are considerably better ones out there for the same money.

Pros: Handling, torque, interior.

Cons: Power steering, boring, rust and electrical issues.

Good Economy Car But Nothing Else — best possible gas mileage, handles well, not sensitive enough, terrible looking except the rims wish I had a CD player or an aux cable so I just listen to the radio, automatic but it has 5 speed which is fun

Pros: Gas mileage, turning radius

Cons: not sensitive and terrible looking

I Fairly Strong And Economical Car — The only real problem wiht my car is that between first and second gear there is a very large hesitaion. I also don't like the design and shape of it, I like the design of the years before this desgin and the years after just not 1996 through to 1997.

Pros: Economical, safe, reliable

Cons: a little lacking in power

All Around Good Car — Its nice, a good reliable car with like 28 miles to the gallon. Shifting in a stick is fun, this car has some pretty good pep. There are a lot of good things about this car... Almost no maintenance needed. The beauty of a Honda of course.. Just give it gas and go

Pros: Reliability

Cons: I need to replace the clutch soon.

5th Generation Accord — Only modifications that I did to my car that kept the car in an inspectable state were cat back exhaust and cold air intake system. This made the car sound great. I averaged 0-60 times of about 6.5 - 7 seconds which is not bad for a car that gets over 30 mpg. Although the car had over 160,000 miles, the maintenance costs were minimal. It was very fun to drive and was a great first car for me.

Pros: Fuel efficiency, easily modified, fun to drive, low maintenance costs, good performance

Cons: I would have loved it in a convertible.
