Pros: Good Power, Reliable, Comfortable, Great to Drive

Cons: Just with two design Issues that frequent tese cars - Automatic Transmission and inner roof lining issues

1997 Holden Vs Commodore — Well the vs commodore is fun to drive and while it is spacious and has a massivie boot the appearence of my paticular commodore is poor. the previous owner was in his 70s and had scratched it and smashed it up so when i got it it needed a new front end. The front its multi coloured and the wiring is a mess and the home repair jobs done by the previous owner are shockers but over all it is a decent car just a bit high matinents. If you can find a decent 1 they are going for around $2000.

Pros: its a beautiful drive with aftermarket a lot of things holden did good with the engine build and the stock sound system

Cons: not my car but others yea

Good Family Car To Own — goes well, nice and smooth to drive, plenty of room to move inside, and very cheap to run since i had it converted to run on LPG, easy and reasonably cheap to buy spare parts for, i'm a mechanic and in my opinion the 3.8 v6 is hard to beat for reliability, i've never had to do any major work on one of these engines

Pros: read review

Cons: none

I Love My Car — Really haven't done much to her, figured kids would wreck her. Dark Grey interior, mp3 cd player, sub, mags, a few stickers and some cold air intake under the hood. She also has a k & N filter and a 3 inch sports enhaust.

Pros: It's reliable, comfy, spacious and looks good.

Cons: She's heavy when it comes to accelerating

Its A Commodore — what else can you say. it did everything it had to and thats all you would ask from it. being an executive model and thrashed by the owner, You have to give the car some credit. it sounds bloody horrible and the interior is shocking coz it never gets cleaned but it drives nicely and smoothely. the only problem with driving the car is the flair from 1st to 2nd gear

Pros: torquey engine, good steering feel

Cons: just like every other commodore

A Lounge Suite On Wheels — Early reliability was terrible due to rushed builds but they improved throughout the model range to culminate with the VZ Series II. The 5.7-litre V8 SS was a ripper.

Pros: Cheap for what you got.

Cons: Suspect build quality
