Fun — 215 hp for a "sports" car is not enough in my mind. It is still fun and American. It is cheap to own. It was only $8000 with very low miles and it is very fun to drive and smoke the tires.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: American Icon

    Cons: Underpowered

My 1997 Ford Mustang Gt Convertible — I love the Ford Mustang because of the style & overall handling/performance of the vehicle. It easily jumps to 80 miles per hour on the interstate and wants to go faster! I really have to keep my eye on the gauge...

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: Fast! Fun!

    Cons: Age of the vehicle

Bottom Line, This Car Will Kick Your Ass! — Acceleration-depends on how heavy your foot is, cuz it'll throw you back in your seat if you want it to. Handling-goes anywhere you want it to, wherever you turn the wheel it'll follow. Appearance-aggressive, fast, pure muscle, inside and out Fun Factor-crazy fun to drive, especially if you like weaving in and out of traffic, and going fast.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: Power, handling, looks.

Cons: No reason to avoid it.

Awesome 1997 Mustang — I love this car! Even with the V6 engine, it pulls hard from 1,9000 to 3,000 RPMs and can easily smoke the all-season tires from a stop. It must not have ABS because the brakes will lock up in a pinch. I've tested the gas mileage various times and consistently get 23 MPG city and 33-34 MPG highway with the 5-speed manual transmission. It now has 166,000 miles on the odometer and I've never had major engine repairs necessary. A slight amount of plastic in the interior is the only drawback I see. I added an after-market spoiler for the sake of appearance...but it could use new lifter arms for the trunk since it was originally not equipped for the added weight of the spoiler. It's fun to drive and the factory cruise control makes highway driving easy. There are a few squeaks and rattles now, but considering mileage I'm not complaining. One thing to consider is that it does not come with grease ports for the front axle joints. This has developed a squeak problem when the outside temperatures get over 80 degrees. Overall, it's a great car and I recommend it in every way!

Pros: Great power with excellent MPGs!

Cons: No grease ports for the front axle joints.

My Mustang — I love my Mustang the only problems with it are things that I've done to it.... Like getting in a accident... It's a really beautiful car the only reason mine looks off is because of the white door on the passenger side because of the accident.... It's a really fun car to drive it goes really fast for a little V6 it still run very well considering it's almost 12 years old and I've put it through it's far share of beatings....

Pros: It's not as expensive as some cars to fix on the little things and it drives very well

Cons: nothing really just dont get in a accident or it takes forever to fix and don't talk bad about it... or it won't start >.<
