Amazing Power, Go Anywhere Do Anything Truck — As far as trucks go, it was top of the line for it's time. Only a year before had they introduced a turbo for the 7.3 power plant. It was fast, it was fun, with a 5 speed manual transmission, and a tough Dana 60 rearend. Quite spacious as well.

Pros: tons of power, decent fuel economy for it's size, lots of room in the interior, cool accessories, and good price.

Cons: huge maintenance fees, expensive fuel, tough to get in and out of parking spaces, parking garages, etc.

Built Ford Tough — solid truck with plenty of power and torque...handles and brakes well for a big 3/4 ton truck. 4" skyjacker suspension lift 3" body sittin on 35's and a dana 60 outback.

Pros: 351 windsor, 410 gears and dana 60

Cons: 5-7 miles to the gallon, manual front hub lockouts, rough ride

Depending On The Engine, It's An All Around Tough Truck For The Average Driver. — Exterior is well put together, with nice moldings on the sides, with chrome to compliment the body color. The interior is very basic. Tacky dash quality is pretty standard on these trucks. The performance leaves a LOT to be desired with the 4.6 liter V8. 0-60 takes 14.5 seconds. Handling is marginal with the open differential. It's also a major gas guzzler, getting realistic numbers around 10 to 14 MPG, depending on the day.

Pros: Looks, aggressiveness, suspension, sound of the engine.

Cons: 0-60, handling, bumpy ride, sluggish powerband.

I have towed lots of thing with my f-250 ford and never had any troubles out of it, the 7.3 powerstroke with the banks power pack done a great job. I would recommend this truck to anyone like I said it does a great job. NICE GOING FORD ON THIS TRUCK.

Ford F-250 Diesel — I love this truck, when I shift the five speed well the acceleration will keep your head in the seat, it handles surprisingly well I really never have to slow down for a corner. This truck also has the best TCS that I have ever encountered. The body style is my favorite body style of any vehicle with its tough and rugged look.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: all

    Cons: none
