Ram — its a beast! its been in my family since '97 and has never let us down. its amazing in the winter and off-roading. the fuel economy could use a lot of improvement but thats the only problem with it. the braking is perfect!

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: the power

Cons: fuel economy

The Tank — I like it has character. Such as, the dents, rust, and straches. Dislike how much I have to pay of gas and repairs. I feel the body is not the way it used to be at all. It needs a lot of work. I feel with the proper care and handling the truck could get a lot more years. The truck has 180,000 miles and thats awesome. I put it through a lot of abuse over the years.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: The power that helps me pass people.

Cons: Its very very old.

Good — this truck is not a bad runing truck. The motor is very stronge. It has a 5.2 318 motor. I paid 1,800 for it. The preson that I bought it from never drove it and he didn't take care of it.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: it take a lot obuse but the truck is great.

Cons: I wish it had a 360 motor in it

Stellar Performer. The Best Vehicle Ive Ever Owned, Hands Down! — My Ram has taken me all over this great country, to both coasts and everywhere in between. It has a been a rock solid and dependable machine with impressive ergonomics and performance. The truck is now showing 190,000 on the odometer with a near-perfect record as regards reliability. It has never left me stranded. It still looks decent and runs strong. With proper maintenance I see no reason that this truck couldn't go another 100,000 miles or more. It is fun to drive and with great styling I would have no problems recommend owning one of these great trucks to anyone.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Rugged, reliable, comfortable, well handling, power on tap when needed.

Cons: If you dont need a truck and value smaller, super high fuel economy cars...don't buy this vehicle

It Do Work — Its old but its strong and goes through the mud. Awesome low end power and is rated to tow 10k. It aint for tree huggers at 9 mpg though. It gets me from a to b and keeps the pony out of the weather.

Pros: Hunt, mud, rest the mustang

Cons: none

Great If You Can Afford V8's Haha — Long lasting rides almost like new.. blew the engine once, but it wasnt the engines fault i had a mechanic work on it, and he messed it all up. I love the truck, it's very comfortable! I just wish V8's didnt cost so much in gas!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: power, comfort, reliability

Cons: gas sucker

I Love My Truck, This One Is An Investment. — This monster may be big, but she hugs the road like no other. I have never been able to lock up the tires even on a rear ABS system. This Ram has 160000 miles and it still runs like new. There have only been a few minor repairs needed but overall this truck is a member of the family. There is nothing I dont like about my Dodge Ram.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: This truck is the beast for long distance and towing

Cons: The truck only gets about 18 highway on a good day

My Dodge — Performance - Slower acceleration, not very quick brakes, good handling Build Quality - Rattles a bit, has a mystery oil leak Appearance - Scratches on outside from driving in the woods, worn interior Cost of Ownership - 12 MPG, high maintenance on gas Fun Factor - Fun because it's tough and you can beat it up a little without worrying

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Strength, Reliability

Cons: Age, General performance

"big Green" — Overall, i give it a 4/5 because it has served me well over the years and is still doing her job. It's got a v-6, when the body is designed for a 318 or 360 so the performance isn't all too great. Back in High school, i installed a magnaflow dual exhaust and i get told it sounds better than my roommates v8 360. The building quality of the engine is phenomenal! I have 241,000 miles on the ORIGINAL engine, and i still drive to and from college twice a month, roughly a 300 mile trip. The transmission is far from the greatest, i still have problems with it, but luckily no new problems, yet. The ball joints, the dash, and the roofing paint can be redesigned by dodge definitely. The Paint job, aside from the roof, is still in perfect shape, i still get compliments about it. Overall, i like it because it has outlasted any vehicle my father has ever owned, and it will probably outlast any vehicle i'll ever own.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Engine Durability

Cons: Transmission, Dashboard, Ball Joints, Roof Paint.
