One Of The Best All-time Sports Cars — I've driven mine for nearly 10 years now. It still gives me great pleasure to drive and looks great from every angle.

Pros: The car just feels right.

    Cons: Nothing

This Thing Was Pure Fun! — This coupe was rated with 240hp but it sure felt like a whole lot more! The torque led to an absolutely amazing acceleration curve.

Pros: Great gear box, fantastic handling, great looking car.

    Cons: I sold it!

Best Bang For Your Buck! — The 2nd generation M3 from BMW putting out 240 hp and roughly the same in torque. At roughly 3100 lbs, it churns out a 0-60 time of roughly 5.5 seconds. This particular model year (1997) only comes with a standard transmission and the infamous "vader" seats. With a nearly 50/50 weight distribution, this car handles amazingly. Great track car right out of the box. ;)

    Pros: Price, power, classic style.

    Cons: Prone to electrical problems.

Very Good Car — Although BMW M-car enthusiasts do not rate these, my old E36 saloon was a very good car - quick, good handling (without traction control), with a great engine.

Pros: Very good car, great engine, excellent handling

Cons: Not as good as an E39 M5

Awesome Car Even If Mine Was The Auto Version ;-( Lots Of Money For Maintenance Though — LOVED THIS CAR!!! got it when iI was young, not thinking about maintenance and cost of ownership!!! Put a smile on my face every time behind the wheel though!!! Like that mine was a 4 door and had very subtle differences from say a 325i back then.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: Awesome car!!!
    INLINE 6!!!!
    4 dr M3!!!

    Cons: maintenance cost
    auto version ;-(
