Like The Beatles, This Is A Car That Will Always Be In Our Hearts. — As i am only 15 at the time, I don't officially own this car. But it's being handed to me when i finish school. It performs quite well if you slam the accelerator and has very responsive steering and corners level. The ride is firm and you can feel the road, but not uncomfortable. Where I live parts are easy to find and cheap. A new clutch is R400 (about $35). The roof lining is coming loose but not noticeably and can be fixed. One of the door panels is loose from a crash but is due to be fixed. But otherwise the build quality is excellent. The car looks great and has only one scratch at the back, caused by me. Maintenance is extremely cheap because, as I have mentioned before, parts are easy to find. Our servicing is done by an ex-BMW mechanic and he fixes everything! Mileage is good, and it has a backup 2L tank for emergencies. It is a beautiful car to drive and doesn't feel fake or out of touch. Gearbox is light and the brakes are sharp. You can tell exactly what is going on. I love this car.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Comfortable, Easy to drive, Cheap to maintain, A bit nippy if you gun it.

    Cons: Sensitive accelerator.

The Perfect College Car — she's a really old lady, 202k+ miles and seemingly falling apart at the seems but we've had her since day 1 and she just keeps going... spare parts are expensive and must be shipped from germany, but that's to be expected...

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: reliability

Cons: transmission rebuilds every 50k miles are expensive

An Old Style Bmw Rwd Car — A fun RWD BMW E36 with LSD and M-Pack Suspension. A fun-to-drive coupe, well built, with a nice fast response 1.9 engine and a nice setup that provides good handling. A cheap and reliable car for young drivers who want a RWD car but they can't buy a M3.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: The handling

    Cons: Nothing

The Ultimate Driving Machine — Absolutely the best car I've ever owned. Amazing handling, very quick acceleration, and awesome looks. There is a reason they call it "The Ultimate Driving Machine". When it was new, it fetched nearly $50,000. It's still every bit the top of the line car it was in '97. Averages about 19/25 MPG. Needs very basic upkeep. One or two squeaks from convertible top, but the car is solid as a rock. It's definitely not a cheap car to buy or own, but the value is astronomical. Don't hesitate...just buy it.

Pros: A truly elite automobile, best buy under $10K

Cons: I had to pay for it....

Great Car, Easy To Work On, Fun To Drive — The car is great. The main thing you have to worry about with any BMW is price of parts. My advice is DO IT YOURSELF. The Build Quality is top notch. I also enjoy the styling of the car. Although it doesn't accelerate like my mustang, its handling and braking abilities are flawless. slight understeer, but thats the way i like it. This particular vehicle has a lot to fix, but I'm getting great deals on parts and doing all the work myself - only way to go.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: Build Quality and Handling

    Cons: acceleration

The Best From The Late Nineties — Inline-6 has great torque curve relatively light-weight Mean Piston Speed comparable to Honda S2000 & Bugatti Veyron Top speed 149 mph (electronically limited) .95 G's on the skidpad Possible to drift through corners Runs on 89 octane fuel S suspension package holds corners very well

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Combo of luxury and sport

Cons: Sometimes high cost of ownership

I Love My 3 — They ain't never lied when they gave the Beamer the Title as the Ultimate Driving Machine. The car drives you, you don't drive the car. I wake up everyday excited to get behind the wheel!!! I Love My Crown Royal

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It hugs the road like no other

Cons: I don't have push button start nor a navigation system like the newer ones
