The 1997 2.5 has a 2.5-liter I5 rated at 176 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque. Estimated mileage is 20 in the city and 25 on the highway.
Owners of the 1997 TL 2.5 have complained that for a luxury car, many of the subtler touches are missing, such as standard leather seats. However, some claim that the I5 in the 2.5 is more powerful than the V6 in the 3.2. Almost all drivers seem to love driving their 2.5 TLs.
