1997 Acura Integra GS Coupe FWDReview

It's An Acura... — Well being that I have owned a numerous amount of Honda's, I personally feel this vintage of Acura was a good year. Excellent platform car for someone that is looking for a solid daily driver all the way to building it up a little for a track/auto cross car. Honda's are known for lously power unless you able to get a DOHC Vtec model GSR. But then you lose what Honda's lack more, torque. I was looking for a car that was capable of giving me the handling I was looking for and decent power. Not going to win and 1/4 times with this bad boy, but it does get out of it's own way...

Pros: *Aftermarket Parts are Everywhere (NOT Ebay People)
*Solid car with a more hp than earlier years
*Interior contours to the driver

Cons: *I hate OBD2--Conversion harness to OBD1 here I come
*Heavy in relation to the second generation Integra's
*Looks like a Frog from the front
*No real low end power

Quick, fun, And Attractive — Great Car.. Really reiable. Costs basically nothing to drive if they have been maintained well. A really common car. The reliability proves why they are so common. Ive put 40000 KM on it since ive owned it.. not one problem. Highly recommened for a first sports car. Quick, economical, a blast to drive, and looks really clean with some rims

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: DOHC motor, Honda reliability, 30mpg in city, Rides nice, handles great, nice power for non-VTEC motor

Cons: no VTEC (not a GSR), no sunroof
