Brakes Are Too Small On The V6 — Performance - Nice 3.0i V6 24 Valve with VVTI Quick Build Quality - couple of squeaks Appearance - Good looking car withe the 16" mags. One dent on right back. Fun Factor - Can beat a Golf 5 GTI Cool! Nice overall car. Not badly priced.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Fast, Big and not too bad on fuel.

Cons: Cant think of any... bit old.

If You Want A Safe, Reliable Car This Is It — The acceleration is light, braking is fine, and handling is good for the size. The quality is top notch, never needs repairs other than basic matenience. The appearance is good for the model year, not flashy but not to old. The cost of ownership is very light, there is no repairs and has good gas milage. The fun factor, well lets just say its an inline 4 made for commuters

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Gas milage and quality

Cons: None

Built To Last — Pretty much rated this car on what's good for a Camry, not against all other cars. Engine is still in good quality with good upkeep, but body is starting to go. The back left tire rod and stability bar has each snapped off in the past year. Luckily I wasn't going 70 mph down the highway when the tire rod snapped off, or else I would not be here to type this message. Overall good car. Camrys have always had a good reputation for being cars that last. We bought it used however, so it's hard to know how to really rate it, also especially since it's an aging car.

Pros: Reliable, Good Quality, Built to last

Cons: Air system in the car could be better so the windows wouldn't fog up so easily

I Just Can't Say Enough Positive Things About It. It's Simply Perfect. — This is the best car I've ever owned. Purchased it new and it now has 104 thousand miles on it. No problems whatsoever. 33 miles per gallon, no rust, 100% reliable. A truly outstanding car that I'll keep 'til I die.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Everything

Cons: Nothing

Faithful, Frugal Fun ... For Five! — Its appearance belies its performance--with the V6, the Camry is quick off the line and sounds great. The electronically-controlled four-speed is easily the best automatic I've ever had the pleasure to use. Handled reasonably well. Four-wheel discs are great; not having ABS was often exciting. Good, clean design, looks great in white and even better in black, and it was often mistaken for a Lexus. The '96 V6 specifically has front axle issues, and a leaking steering rack was replaced, which is perfectly understandable at 120000 miles. Fuel economy was around 19 mpg in the city, and this is under very hard driving. Extraordinarily comfortable, as well. VERY solid car; only a manual transmission could have made it better!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: I beat a Camaro once

Cons: Can't shift it yourself: get a '97- V6 for that

Camry Takes A Licking — No wonder this car has won many awards. It is luxurious and comfy on the inside as well as built well. I know, as I crashed mine into a concrete wall and my husband was able to put it all back together and it still rides smooth and has needed few repairs. It doesn't look so pretty but it drives and rides so comfy and smooth I dont want to drive any other until I can afford another Camry. The gas mileage is good about 25 city and 30 mpg on the highway. Maintenance is low and I dont change my oil like I should and Ive had no problems. Just need new tires and regular maintenance and will see how much longer (over 250,000+) this Great car will take me.

Pros: sturdy, comfy, and reliable

Cons: expensive but worth it

My Camry — My camry is an ugly green color with a very plain body style. It's comfortable to ride in and easy to drive. Visibility is superb and handles well for a larger vehicle. Huge trunk and ample cabin room. It's been the most reliable car I've owned to date. Gas mileage is terrific, although it leaks oil. It's no sports car, but has some get up for a four cylinder.

Pros: Reliable, feels safe/solid, roomy and great gas mileage.

Cons: Leaks oil, plain body styling.
