Very Good Looking And Drives Good And Fast(if Needed) — Like everything but the dumb noise it makes......Love this camrey but the landlord says one car and I got a new van.......well, if the car had the "NOISE FIXED" and a smog hose or whatever fixed it would be a great car for anything and will go anywhere!!( just drove to LA in 5 hrs averaging 70-80 mph and had no probs 4 months ago!

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: looks good, handles good, starts right up and drives all day without overheating, good gas mileage, all power

Cons: some weird noise coming out of front right side(maybe in engine or body, not sure) but it doesn't effect anything but a noise?? Also, "Engine Light" just came on 2 months ago but it is not engine problem....Meter says "EVAP" which is probably cheap lil' hose or device because it just passed SMOG with flying colors several months ago!!

Camry - My Car — I love this car. It handles great in all road conditions. It is fun to drive, easy to handle, has required little repairs. I've kept up with dealer suggested maintenance. Gets great mileage and lives up to the Toyota reputation. Great roomy backseats. backseats fold down to extend trunksize. Safe car.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: Fun and economical

Cons: air conditioner no longer works

Boring First Car — I drove this car from 2005-2009 and it was my very first car. IT was reliable and never really left me stranded even though it had 150k when i sold it. Performance was downright slow. The 4 cylinder engine only had 125hp and still used a good amount of gas so that was a double whammy. Its styling was just bland and very dated, gas mileage was terrible for a 4 cylinder with a lack of power. In the city i got like 21mpg and 28mpg highway. My new V6 accord with 200hp matches the mileage and it quick and fun to drive. However, this car was just plain boring as with all other toyotas.

    Cons: huge snore factor

True Testament To Toyota's Namesake — For being stock it was a really solid car with the works! I had a strong pull from a stand still. Durable as hell. Cheap car with great looks. Wish i still had it! ( this year looked way better than the styling cues they adopted starting in 1997)

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: loaded (power everything!)

Cons: good luck finding a replacement engine as the engine is year specific

Love It. What A Bargain — I bought my 1996 camry LE with the 6 cyl engine brand new. it has 220,000 miles. get 28 miles in mixed driving, and 30+ on highway. I change the oil myself and it does not burn a drop of oil in the 3,333 mile oil change interval. original engine and transmission. i want to see if it'll last till 350,000 miles. It's been a great car, very much like the 1987 celica I owned for 12 years and traded with 142,000 miles, a trade I still regret.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: power, build quality, reliability, fun to drive

    Cons: none
