1996 Peugeot 306 — Performance: Not quick of the lights, but strong mid range. Brakes Ok, handlings was ok, quite grippy. Build Quality: This one was Ok, many are not. Appearence: Very nice Cost of Ownership: Very good on diesel, for some reason it was expensive for me to insure. Fun Factor: Quite fun round the country lanes.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Economical, Reliable, nice grippy handling

Cons: Poor Peugoet electrics cand fail a lot.

I Felt Safe In It, And Would Surely Recomend It To Others :) — I loved this car... Its a fun car to drive, just by adding a green filter you get it to feel and sound like it has a lot more under the hood :) I felt safe when driving it, and its an easy car to control when the roads are icey of in a bunch of snow :)

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fun, comfy, and has a good look to it

Cons: If your wanting a car easy to style up, this isn't it.  Styling (even if it ment for this model) rarely fits right. and all the small clips usually brake when taking something original off the car. (thankfuly they are cheep)

A Good For Evenings And Sunday Car. — The car is convertible. The hatchback was re-designed by Pininfarina for the convertible, and the result is - very good shape of the body, very good-looking from the back. The car is with 2.0 liter I4 engine with 121bhp and 176nm of torque. It's woderful for driving in the late spring and early fall.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: The convertible is a different expirience

Cons: It's not for the winter

1996 Pug 306 1.9xld — Company car. Great to drive, ecomonical- strong engine. Non- turbo engine really pulled well. Spacey, comfortbale, handled well. From memory seemed to blow quite a few light bulbs. Well built- frequent dealer visits due to the number of miles driven and distance between services.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: everything

Cons: cant think of anything

Cheap To Run And Fun To Drive — Brilliant economy. Cheap to run but expensive to repair here in New Zealand. It's not the greatest performer, but has european styling and is great fun to drive, especially with it being manual. Functional with a tow bar and large storage space.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Economic

Cons: Expensive to repair

Bargain 306 — I needed a cheap car quickly so I bought my beloved 306 for £300. I love it. It's quite fast but economical because its the 1.9TD version and its fun to drive. Its falling apart now but its been faithful. Lots of bits are falling off inside now and the Electrics don't always work but for the money it's been amazing. The engine will go on forever.

Pros: Great indestructable engine, economical but quite nippy, nice colour

Cons: Rubbish build quality, dodgy electronics

306 Turbo Diesel — This is such a fun car to drive it's a 1.9turbo diesel so no matter how fast i drive i still get good economy. Being a french car the build quality is not the same as a german or jap motor but it isn't too bad. It's a very pretty car which is why i've had 4 of them now!! It don't cost a lot to own as insurance group 5 and cheap to run as diesel only thing is oil and filter's change every 6000 miles which is quite short. It is most definately a fun car to drive as the handling is top notch and i can leave alot of cars behind on the twisties and as it's a turbo diesel it's fun dissappearing from peeps at speed!! Overall i'm more then happy and at mo wouldn't change it.

Pros: Looks, Handling, Fun, Cost, Performance

Cons: Build Quality
