Great Daily Driver And A Very Nice Car (for Sale) — Performance is not bad just is not fast enough. The car has not needed any repairs very reliable car. Very nice car catches attention everywhere i drove it and interior is very nice. Gets great gas mileage easy to maintain. It is fun to drive only cause it catches peoples eye but nowhere even close to my 300zx. It was my first car and after i got everything done and made it a show car i decided to get a 300zx tt.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Nice Car

Cons: Only a GS So Its Not Very Fast

Highly Buildable For A Reasonable Price — This car is still a wip. Was pretty fast when I got it. Stock this car has decent acceleration. Needs bigger brakes. So far car has 13:1 compression, Titanium pushrods, and sodium valves. I have got to get a manual Transmission, Automatic trans bogs down.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: They are fast!

Cons: It was wrecked by my wife

Down But Now Out. —

Now this review is going to how this car was before it was sold and bought back. Performance - The performance was very pleasing. With just a couple of small modifications, it was easily performing with Mustang GT's and Camaros. The handling was the gem of this vehicle. I replaced the stock struts and springs with adjustable coilovers. The unibody was rigid and with the lower center of gravity was a force to be reckoned with around any curvy stretch of pavement. Build Quality - These cars are renowned for breaking down and being unreliable. I disagree. I put mine through the paces and with the mileage and what type of mileage (very very very hard miles) it withstood more than I would have ever imagined. Appearance - This particular model was never my favorite styling. I have always preferred the 97-99 models. The good news is that I am switching the styling of this vehicle over to the 97-99 styling. Cost of Ownership - Amazing gas mileage considering the performance! I regularly recieved 25-30 mpg. My only complaint is the price of synthetic oil which was required because of the turbo. Also, the vehicle required 93 octane fuel. So there was trade offs for the performance. Still not that bad of a trade off considering what this car was capable of. Fun Factor - I've owned several vehicles over the years and drove more than my fair share of performance cars. I would have to say I miss this car the most out of all of them. I can think of a particular time that I was driving. I wasn't in a hurry to be anywhere. I really was just out to be out of the house. I wasn't in a good mood or a bad mood. I realized a few miles down the road that I was smiling. And the only reason why I could imagine that I was smiling was because I was driving this car.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Will be fixed, performance per buck, Fun to drive

Cons: In pieces, expensive oil changes

I Loved It Cause I Did So Much To It. Good Car Just Keep Up With It With Preventative Maintenance — The non-turbo model lacked power stock. there are manyupgrades and parts out there to make it faster though. i had many additional parts on my car and it sounded great and i got back a lot of lacked power. transmissions in these cars are junk. i had to replace two. frequent rust spots include rocker panel by rear quarter, strut towers, and the hatch. front seats spacious there is no back seat!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: good on gas and fun to drive

Cons: rust problems and transmission problems

Nice To Look At, Pretty Slow. — Daily whip! Needs alotta work, tranny clutch, and some body work. do like the fact that it's tinted down, and it does have a strong motor thanx to will. hopefully it'll be fixed in time to put the gst away for the winter.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: fun sporty loud!

Cons: no reason

Pay To Play — Same as the 1g but this is a 2g GSX. Great aftermarket for tuning purposes, handling is great with the AWD and LSD. Still competes with cars nowadays, and its cool through the mountains, Pay to Play for the 2g DSM

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Performance

Cons: Maitenance

2g Eclipse Rs — I'm going to rate this car including the work and parts I performed and installed on the car. It handled amazing thanks to Megan drop springs paired with KYB AGX struts, 17-8" wheels, front and rear upper strut bars, and lower tie bars. Made decent power for a naturally aspirated 4 cylinder throughout the entire broad 8200rpm range. That was accomplish by the help of an AEM sri, Chikara 4-2-1 wrapped header, custom Magnaflow 2.5" mandrel bend SS catback exhaust, MSD blaster coil w/ 8.5mm spark plug wires, and high flow fuel filter.

Pros: High RPM N/A 4cyl and excellent handling

Cons: Low torque
