My S10 — it is the best truck i have ever had. i have put this s10 trough hell and high water. it is completly stock besides some custom exhaust and intake work. it gets pretty crappy gas mileage but it has to do alittle with a heavy foot.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: indestructable truck

    Cons: not four wheel drive

    ? —

I honestly think it's too small for my liking. I do not own the truck but my grandfather allows the use of it all the time. lol. Honestly, if it were mine, I'd sell it and buy a 1500 4x4. This truck doesn't look horrible, but not great either. This is a strong truck for being it's size. The biggest problem with the truck is a head gasket leak. It should be fixed here before long, or there's gonna be an even bigger problem. I haven't opened up the throttle, but i'm shure this thing could get going in a hurry if you need it to. There is a small squeak coming from alternator pully i beleve. It seems to do pretty good on the road. Like all small trucks, the shocks are a bit stiff. Other than that, it's fine. The braking ,however, is not the greatest...it wont apply pressure until the pedal is about 3/4 of the way to the floor! The frame isn't too rusty, but the brake lines sure are. I'm starting to beleve that the rusty lines are causing the poor braking. A couple of new lines and if it comes down to it, a new master cylinder and it'll be good! There are a few relay problems I must note. When the high beams are OFF, the light in the cluster shows thaat they are on, then when the highs are ON the cluster shows they are off. The cluster also is stating that the parking brake is ON when it is OFF. And ever since i've been in that truck, the ABS light is on at all times. That would be the wire going from the front passenger side brake to the relays. I'm thinking that that wire being disconnected is what is causing the parking brake light to stay on as well.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: Uh, nothing is too GREAT about it. It would be a nice truck for hauling small loads on the road.

Cons: No 4 wheel drive. The braking sucks, and I'd say it's a bit small of a truck for me.

This Car Rock — I love my truck. She has never let me down. Has a 4.6 motor in it. Still very motor and transmission. Just got the truck repainted and a tune up. Drives smooth. Doesn't leak any fluids. Just fun to drive

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Not the many on the road

Cons: black is hard to keep clean

Great Job Chevrolet! — Everything is great! Performance is great with the 4.3 liter v6 engine and the 4l60e is great for pulling and it has the get up and go! You cant beat Chevrolet"s drive train. Has an awesome transfer case that the 4wd will get you anywhere and everywhere!

    Pros: Everything

    Cons: None

S10 Zr2 — It goes anywhere, It looks great, it handles great (Ok, it fishtails a lot in the winter but that's fun), well built, superior suspension, about 16 MPG. I like the fact that it's lever controlled transfer case / 4x4. Modifications include 2" suspension lift, 3" Body lift, 31" BFG A/Ts, Visor, Cowl Induction hood, Westin Safari Bar, PIAA 6" Driving lamps, and front end receiver tubes with recovery shackles.

    Pros: Everything. <3

Cons: Not the greatest on gas.

1996 Chevrolet S10 Pickup 2wd — This is a 1996 chevrolet s-10 pickup, the truck was lowered by previous owner and painted a dark blue, used to be a poop brown. I bought it for $800 with 178k on it. I eventually traded it for my current vehicle, which is the chevy silverado. This truck only got me 15 mpg which sucked, probably because it had a 4.3L V6 Vortec engine under the hood. It also had a large dent across the span of the passenger side of the vehicle.

Pros: positive? ummm it got me from point A to point B...

    Cons: gas mileage (15mpg)

Good Truck, Could Be Better Engine — I like everything but the engine. Ive had a couple problems with it. Ive had to put in a new head gasket and new spark plugs and wires. Now i have to put a new coil on it because it has a miss in cylinder one and ive changed that spark plug out twice.

    Pros: Suspension and body style.

    Cons: Engine

It'll Run Forever. — It's an excellent vehicle. It has some acceleration issues, but it has great fuel economy. My truck has half-ton weight springs and slightly oversized tires. It pulls better than any other light duty truck I've driven. I put 60000 miles on my truck after I cracked the heads. It's just a beast.

    Pros: Reliability, driveability

    Cons: Acceleration

Solid And Dependable — I love my little truck for running errands around town and hauling things that won't fit in the car. Spacious interior, great gas mileage, and good overall handling. Mine is tricked out with running boards, fog lamps, etc. Two tone paint makes it stand out among the plainer S-10's. Good sound system.

Pros: Incredibly reliable and solid feeling.  No major repairs, just oil, tires and  other minor things.

Cons: Running boards are a bit too low, makes clearing things a feat if you aren't careful.

1996 Chey S-10 3 Door Ls Extended Cab Sb. — This is a 1996 Chevy S-10. 4.3 Litre Vortec engine. White exterior and grey interior. Blue Neon in back window for effect. Completely stock and can go 0-60 in 9.3 secs. Perfect vehicle for drifting in the winter. Most stupid set up for parts: 3 O2 sensors, 5 U-joints come on GM what were you thinking and they are all the same parts not one O2 sensor or U-joint is different from the others.

    Pros: Speed, handling, and looks.

    Cons: 3 O2 sensors and 5 U-joints.
