A Good Project Truck If Your In A Budget — I just recently bought this truck back in march of 08' with 198,000 miles. it has all the original parts and still drives and pulls strong. An excellent truck from General Motors, who in regard has always built high qaulity vehicles. The capability of customization is thus outstanding in regards of the availability of aftermarket parts. The best truck you can buy and save more money for the bang.

Pros: outstanding performance

Cons: some bodiliy occurences like the driver side door out of alignment

Awesome Truck — Its a 96 and I've yet to have any real issues with it. Some minor things but thank God it has been a real Chevy and kept going...

Pros: Good truck, keeps going, tow just about anything

Cons: Gas mileage isn't too bad but definitely not great about 19 to 20 mpg

Just Gave This One To My Little Sister. — I really liked this pickup while i had it. It had damn nice power and not bad fuel economy. It always started nice and ran great. I did do some work to it but that's the story with every vehicle. Overall I liked it a lot. i gave it to my sister when i got my '02 GMC.

Pros: Power, stereo system

Cons: Doors get loose and need hinge replacement

Its A Sexy Machine. Buy One If You Come Across One In As Good Of Condition As This One ^^ — I inherited this truck when I moved to Humble, Texas. i bought it for $4,500 and it is in PERFECT condition for a 1996. The previous owner of this truck absolutely BABIED it. We're talking parking it in the garage, washing it every other day. Driving it gently. The thing has about 100,000 miles on it, its amazing. Great find, I HIGHLY recommend this truck =)

Pros: Rear wheel drive truck + Empty Bed = Great Burnouts >:3

Cons: The brakes wear out real fast, even if you aren't a harsh driver...

This Truck Has 210,000 On The V-6 And Runs Like A Top — the cab is still almost air tight and i like the mileage with it unloaded.no rust and everything still works

Owner for 2 years, 2 months

Miles Driven per Year:11,000

Pros: a really fun to drive truck

Cons: the v-6 will really drop the mileage when loded, stereo could be better.

Awesome — i love this truck and would recommend it to anyone who likes a good driver and can take it wheeling on the weekends. this truck is easy to modify and spare parts are everywhere and cheap you just have to look.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: its a chevy

Cons: none

Buy One! — its almost got 160k miles but shes a good truck. wish it was faster but nothing a little wrenching cant fix. i bought it for 8g and put 3g in it. def fun to drive. has crappy braking. its easy to fix. def cheap to fix. MPGs are around 13. would be more i converted it to 4.10 gearing, threw in an electric fan programmer, didnt floor it all the time, and had more up to date emissions

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Z71, rear locker, suspension, longevity, resale, and engine power

Cons: not a 10 second truck
