My Rambling Thoughts On My 1996 Acura Integra — Its a fun and sporty little car. It has a manual transmission, which I think is a must in any sportscar. You just get a much better feel for the vehicle that way, plus I love the challenge of it. It gets great gas mileage, which it has to since it only has a 10 gallon tank. It gets 30+ on the highway and about 25+ in town. It has pretty decent acceleration for not being upgraded, good braking and has great turning. It does need some suspension work though since it is virtually nonexistent and it needs a new A/C as well. I would recommend this car, since it is a great car to get started in learning manual since it is quite forgiving. The only possible bad thing about it is the fact that it is a front-wheel drive car. That makes a better everyday/all weather vehicle than a rear-wheel drive, but at the same time it takes away some of the sportiness factor. I'm also still more used to the handling characteristics of rear-wheel/four-wheel drive since the first vehicle that I started driving and drove for years was a 1995 Ford Explorer Sport Pros: Great gas mileage, sporty, forgiving clutch Cons: Not in my preferred drivetrain |

Clean Tite — The car is really a nice one. Its a small light car with almost 50 50 wait distribution. Acceleration is very good as it goes 0-60 mph in 5 secs. The interior and exterior is in excellent condition. And it has only 93k on it.....and as far as gas consumption is concerned, it all depends on who is driving the car :) Pros: Acura is basically honda...and honda is reliable Cons: i dont see any negative aspect |

All In All A Great Car To Drive — Performance- DOHC V-Tech makes it pretty quick for a nearly stock little car. Build Quality- Little rattle here and there (138K), Needs a paint job and body work in some spots Appearance- Looks awesome when clean, has many little imperfections, The interior is great Cost- Gas- 30-35 higway, 25 city Oil- normal oil changes. Fun Factor- My next car will hopefully be an acura integra but like a 2000 or 2001, if not an integra it will be some kind of acura or honda.... GO IMPORTS! Pros: sporty, gas mileage, smaller, fun to upgrade. Cons: none so far, has your average problems |

Acura Integra — I do love my car. It has great lines that are sporty yet classic. The colour is great, and the entire ergonomics are dead on with plenty of room. The only thing I don't like is the lower gas mileage for a car that's a 1.6 litre with 140 some odd horsepower and not the best lower gear ratios. Acceleration would be better with more torque on the lower end, and braking isn't bad... especially with performance pads and discs. Never had any squeaks, rattles or parts falling off. The fit and finish is near perfect and it still feels solid. I'm getting 250 to 300 a tank which is less than my Civic was getting (300 to 350) with a gallon smaller tank in th city. Pros: Handling, ergonomics, fit and finish, styling. Cons: Not enough low end torque, mediocre gas mileage, relatively useless cup holder. |

My Second Car — Great teen car, Can be very fast with minor amounts of money. Mine had a B20B motor with a B18C5 built head and A zex Nitros kit. Greddy Exhaust, Sway and strut bars all around and tein lowering kit. Pros: Can be great looking, Can be very fast, REALLY reliable cars Cons: Everyone has one and 3/4ths of them are riced out looking with no performance. |

The Econo-car That Handles Better Than A Lot Of More Modern "sporty" Cars — Performance per dollar is just amazing, it doesn't weigh much which helps a ton with handling, and I can keep up with much more expensive cars in the twisties!! ...and all the while getting 26-33mpg |

Extremely Well Rounded Car. — I’m a 16-year-old male, and after months of research and searching, I finally found the perfect car for me. I needed something small and good on gas that was under 6K, but I still wanted something sporty. The car had been owned by a 78-year-old lady who had just died (she must have been pretty cool to have an Integra). It was in a wreck 4 years ago, but was fully repaired and repainted. It has 65K miles. She kept a full maintenance record, and the only repairs done have been routine maintenance, water pump/timing belt, and radiator. I generally get 28 City and 37 Highway. Cruising on the highway is really bad. Wind/road/tire/engine noise is annoying, and its geared so that 3,000RPM is hit at 65MPH. New tires may help with the noise some since the stock tires are a bit old. Over all, I LOVE MY CAR Pros: Handling, cornering, brakes, shift quality, clutch, 4,500-8,200 RPM, fuel economy. Cons: cruising noise, 0 toruqe |
