Its A Really Good Car But Needs A Little More Horsepower. — I love my Toyota! I have had miner problems with the car but nothing big. But the Celica needs a little more horsepower, so I was thinking I would do an engine swap. But overall the car is really nice, I love the interior and the body is really nice. It is easy to drive and its fun. The celica gets alot of attention around town because its a unique car!

Fun, Sporty, Reliable, Smart Mileage And Suprisingly Versitile! — Great mileage, very reliable, fun to drive and suprisingly versatile. I can haul almost anything in that hatchback -- including 10 foot 2x4's! I can even sleep in the back with the hatch up!

Unbelievable Reliability W/ Style And Performance — I bought it with 101k for $5000 (I had a friend at a dealership). I had it all 4 years I was at college and could not have asked for a better vehicle. Besides normal wear and tear items like tires, breaks, oil changes etc, I did not invest any money into my Celica.....nothing needed fixed. I easily drove approx 20,000 miles per year and never had a doubt that something would break or malfunction....Maybe I was lucky, but I had 110% faith in this car. The body held up extremely well, as did the paint. I kept it waxed, and it kept looking shiny and new. My only complaint is head room...Im 6'3

Love the car but theres no information and you cant hardly buy nothing for it they want over $500 for a power window motor and regulator for the drivers door which is absolutely insane they dont offer rain guards nobody can help you tune the computer theres like zero stuff out there you cant buy loaded struts for it they just dont have nothing for it so it really aint worth having if you cant you going to spend 2 million dollars to fix it up

Handling Ranked 1997 Honda Civic better.
"Well I own both of them and you just seems like I can go around a car faster in the Civic my Selleck has a body kit so I cant lower it down anymore then thats probably why the problem is cuz that body kit I cant lower it without air to nose off the car"
Cargo Capacity Ranked 1997 Honda Civic worse.
"Will the Celica is a hatchback in the seats fold down and I could just stick more stuff in it then the Civic seems like but theyre probably real close to the same but when I fold the seats down in the Celica theres nothing in the way its wide open"
Family Car Ranked 1997 Honda Civic better.
"Its bigger inside and gets a little better gas mileage"
Value Ranked 1997 Honda Civic better.
"Because Honda Stuff dont cost hardly nothing and Civics Celica stuff is outrageously expensive compared to it look up a power window motor regulator and motor for the drivers door on the Celica it will rock your socks"
Would Buy Ranked 1997 Honda Civic worse.
"Toyota mixer better motor thats quieter and Toyotas just a better product but Hannah is running a good second the definitely second of all of the cars so its Toyota then Honda in the Nissan aint even in the same ballpark but the Celica is much prettier and the seats fill more sporty holding you into the seat I just like it better but I dont like what it cost to fix it up or even maintain it versus Honda dirt cheap everything about its cheap"
