I Love Her! She's Fun And Easy To Handle — It's a great car, i love it

Pros: she's great on gas, i get between 35-40mpg

Cons: it's manual steering and it's hard to find a rack and pinion for it

The Superneon!!!!! — Was one heckuva good running car. I sometimes I wish I had it back with gas at $3.77 a gallon. As far as I know it's still on the road today up in Atlantic, Iowa.

Pros: Handled like a dream, ran pretty good, and made it down a few mud roads without getting stuck.

Cons: Always had problems with O2 sensors breaking, and couldn't keep tires on it beings they'd only last 20,000 miles.

Started Out So Well...but. — Car was simply a replacement for the previous car I had and would fit into my budget. Windows leaked, radio sucked, power nothing, radiator fan link went out and overheated the engine causing block warpage and gaskets to fail (i.e. oil leaks). I was so surprised I got as much for trade as I did. Avoid the first gen Neons!

Pros: Price, MPG, headroom.

Cons: Shotty build, noisy, unreliable.

Not So Bad When New; Terrible After 75000 Miles — Don't buy one now. It's about beat after this much time. You'll change head gaskets more frequently than you'll change oil. Not mechanically reliable after 75000 miles

Pros: Economical. Great interior/trunk space for a car this size.

Cons: P.O.S. after a while.
