Fun, Fun, Fun! — LOVED this car - Pininfarina designed cabriolet, had a great sound - wasn't fast but it was zippy and handled really well for a soft-top. Great looking car and was very cheap - they will be a classic some day and will be a fairly reliable classic - not a very reliable daily driver though!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Cheap to buy, a little pricey to run but I loved it

Cons: Parts can be expensive!

Never Again — Looks are'nt everything but as an eighteen year old, that's what counted. With just under a 70000 mile mark i had all kind of problems including a new gearbox two new clutches not to mention other engine and electrical problems.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Wheels and overall shape

Cons: Nearly everything

An Ok First Car, Not Very Memorable To Drive But Reliable And Cheap. —

I sort of inherited this car from my mum so I don't know how much it cost in the first place, she still uses it a lot and so she pays for all the servicing and fuel. Being an XN model it's very basic but pretty rugged, it hasn't required many fixes in it's life and rarely goes wrong, except for the radio which switches off a lot in hot weather. To dive it's nothing special. The gearbox is perhaps it's worst feature, when starting out cold it's like trying to stir rocks in a bucket. The power steering is not as powerful as some more modern cars I've driven so it feels relatively heavy to drive but it's not uncomfortable or difficult. It is actually quite light so handling is pretty good, on winding roads it's fun to stick it into the bends. It has a 1.4 litre engine which when new produced 75 hp, since I never drove the car new I have no idea how much it has changed. It feels low on power so you have to stretch the gears to get decent acceleration especially when on the motorway. At high speeds you feel really envious of drivers with newer cars who probably have 6 or more gears, this only has 5 and makes quite a bit of noise at motorway cruising speed. Basically it does everything you need it to do, it just does it very slowly while making a lot of noise.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Decent handling and cheap to run, roomy interior

Cons: Boring styling and low power

Nice Car :) — Car had a very low power consumption and it was great for city driving. It is not a big car and with it everywhere is easy to park. Great solution for people that every day need to go to a work and driving kids.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Low power consumption

Cons: Country

Loved Every Second Of Owning It — this was a pure work horse and track slag but with it being diesel was actually pretty nippy, it did break quite alot but that was down to being lowered 120mm on from and 1 click back with 17's didnt do the suspension many favours, id have another one of theses over my xsi any day

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: great on fuel and great fun to drive

Cons: its frence

The Car Is Very Fun To Drive =)

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Strong Engine And Body...good Handling And Comfortable... — i've a 2.0 xsi 8v 306...a good fun car to drive...love the seats in it...great on the bends...there is good power in but a little more would be good for the weight of the body...an exhaust and induction kit and fast road cam would sort that out...overall a very good car...just look after it with a service every so often...

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: wolf in sheeps cloathing...people think it's a 1.4 or diesel...not a 2.0 xsi...

Cons: dodgy electrics...had 4 peugeots most were the same...
